Any bets? I pick the latter, just can't see A-roid doing anything for anyone other than himself.
I think I was right according to NY Times:

"Because he will be released before he retires, Rodriguez stands to make the $21 million he is due for next season, the final year of his 10-year, $275 million contract."

Another comment about small-ball (and think KC of the comments below):
It's not just the hitting, you need a whole team built around small-ball. You need a good bullpen to hold that slim 1-run lead; we have a terrible record in 1-run games, the worst since 2014. The jury is still out on the new bullpen arms.

You need good team speed to pinch run and hit and run. We only have Upton. You need good contact hitters to do the hit and run. We strike out a lot as a team.

You need some players who can play multiple positions to do the bunt, pinch hit and run. We have Thole, Smoak, and Upton on the bench, all one position players. Barney is the only guy who can play mainly IF but also OF in a pinch.

Basically, our team is not built for small-ball like KC. Can't change a tiger's stripes. We go with what we got, and hope the hitters get hot.

Okay, so you wanna keep this going then??
I'm willing to let it go, but its your choice now and not mine. Remember that!!

I don't want to keep it going. I just like you to back up your statements, which you can't do. Lay off the threats, it's silly. Come beat me up or something LOL.

Welp, that sucked. NO offence again. It was actually a winnable game. If we were tied or up 4-3, there's no way Feldman is pitching and loads the bases with no outs for Cecil to give up the salami.

Misc:
Stroman didn't help his cause by throwing away everything hit to him.
Mondesi looks like pretty dynamic player like his old man.

Okay, since you asked for it.

Your previous posts: https://terb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?557281-Wagg&highlight=

Have been to this club several times and it never seems busy, and this could illustrate why. I live 2 hours from Toronto, and when I'm in the area I go to WAGG to see a particular girl. I will text her to find out is she's working, but am getting no response lately
Thats because Emily is ignoring you!!

I will text her to find out is she's working, but am getting no response lately
Thats because she's avoiding you like the plague

There is no relationship here other than occasional SC visits and occasional texts, but I haven't heard from her in quite a while. I assume she had a phone issue, but not sure
Yes, I'm sure its a phone issue...LOL

I was told by the guy on the phone "dude, she'll never get it"
Thats manager speak for "go away creepy stalker"

This guy obviously just couldn't be bothered helping out
You're right about that at least

There have been other issues-a friend of mine was told very rudely to turn his hat forwards or he would be kicked out, funny thing being that he is 60 years old and 5'6' tal
Here's where you're lying. This wasnt your friend, THIS WAS YOU!!

There's lots of competition out there. We live in London and there are certainly options closer than WAGG. Because the WAGG couldn't be bothered helping out, we're not going to go there. Apparently they are too busy to care
Oh noes, heavy loss for WAGG

BTW-called on a Tuesday night, not a weekend or a busy time. Or maybe on a Tuesday at 11 the WAGG was too busy for customer service. Or maybe not
Too busy for you maybe??

This guy has you pegged right:
I am guessing the club knows you are creeping this girl probably because she told the club that you are so they are screening the information they give to her.

Getting back to baseball. I'm not worried about this loss, Jays will rebound.
I thought Stro was okay despite his 2 throwing errors

The Jays are 1-7 in the first game of home stands.....lets trust they come with some intensity against a last place team

the big 5 starters since going to six man rotation is 0-2

Sanchez will probably skip a start to reduce his innings

Agreed, and winning two of three would have been great. But winning in KC isn't easy.

The Jays still have an outstanding record, and only 1 GB of first.
No doubt these are all ML teams and elite players playing hard. No gimmes. Just can't help but think with just a few timely hits and a few better pitches, we should be 6 games up running away with the division.

Let's hope they save their best for the last 50 games.

Jays need to play small ball more, not just rely on the HR. That's how KC won the WS last year.

The Jays of '92 and '93 that won back to back WS played small ball, only Joe Carter hit 30+ HRs in each season

While I agree with you Jays need to play better fundamental baseball (especially bunting), the fact we're not 6 gms up is mostly due to our shitty pen.

Also, did you guys see Mondesi jr. lay down the bunts?? That was textbook

I have a feeling that what Sharpie&Co will try to build on as part of their plans for their future ball club. That means we might not see someone like JB be back with the team next season. Just my two cents.
Anyone in here wondering why JD not batting in his usual spot of 2nd? I thought the offense looked great with JD,JB and EE in that order from 2nd to cleanup since last year. Then, they like to put a bit of speed in the back end rest of the line up.
