Seems stupid that his lawyer is allowed to make up any convoluted story for Millard which of course is not subject to cross-examination. I thought the judge would limit Millard's attorney's examination to facts presented and Smich nor any witness presented any evidence placing Smich in the same truck as Bosma. If Millard had a story/evidence to give - he should be doing it on the stand so that his version can be questioned in court.I missed "Millard's story". When did he testify?
