Do these writers fact check their stories? As far as I am aware the only medical treatment Jehovahs refuse is blood transfusions. I've never heard of them being against medecine.Sadly Prince Rogers Nelson has passed away today aged 57 allegedly of AIDS. Sources say he contracted HIV in the 90's which he kept private. He turned his faith to the Jehovah Witness religion who have strong views on medicine and believed God can cure. HIV/AIDS has yet to be confirmed officially as the cause of death.

You are correct. This 'journalist' is talking out of their ass.Do these writers fact check their stories? As far as I am aware the only medical treatment Jehovahs refuse is blood transfusions. I've never heard of them being against medecine.
Further to this, I heard that after he was treated for an OD doctor's wanted to keep him in hospital for 24 hours. They requested a private room but there wasn't one available so he was back on the plane within 3 hours. Starting to sound like it was complications from an OD. Sad!New info about Prince:
Prince treated for drug overdose days before death

I had read that he changed his lifestyle since he became a JW,
so I'm surprised to hear that he was doing drugs. Could he have been a heroin addict? (he was given a "save shot" to counteract opiates).
Or maybe he developed an addiction to Oxycontin from use for pain. There were frequent trips to the pharmacy and there was talk that he needed two hip replacements.
He probably has enough music recorded and stashed in his vault to put out a hundred more albums, if not more. It will be interesting hear what's in there.
Wow, I bet there's some amazing songs in there!A quote from a 2014 interview:
"I've never said this before but I didn't always give the record companies the best song. There are songs in the vault that no one's ever heard. There are several vaults; it's not just one vault."

Not sounding like the flu now. Too many Percocets. The reporter who claimed Prince had AIDS should take an Ex-Lax.
I followed up on the epilepsy story and it's true, due to the drugs he was on to control it, the likelihood that the flu did him in becomes very real.
It also explains his stage persona and his ability reel off primal screams in his songs.

She also died at the age of 57She only died a couple months ago, all the drugs took a toll on her body. She had turned her life around, and was a minister in California.

He wrote a lot more songs than you may realize. He gave a LOT of music away to other artists, under pseudonyms, and a bunch of his giveaways became hits in their own right.I don't know what's the big deal about him. Personally, I could never really get past his high heels. He wrote a couple of decent songs, but the rest doesn't even qualify for an elevator. All my girlfriends, in my teenage years, had bedrooms plastered with his posters, though.
This is very disturbing, considering how talented he was. Maybe you might not have liked him, but to make fun of him on his death bed is very low!!!!My favorite Prince story

I actually didn't realize until he died and I read these obit articles that he was the songwriter behind Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U", that he wrote "Manic Mondays" for the Bangles, and a whole lot of other shit.
I was never a big fan of him, but you gotta recognize that he had talent. Not many artists are as prolific in producing music as he was. The guy played six or seven instruments fantastically well, wrote a zillion songs, and constantly changed his musical style. Not many can do that. It's real talent.
Some of you guys need to relax with the whole "respect the dead" thing. Prince himself found this sketch funny but because he died it no longer is?This is very disturbing, considering how talented he was. Maybe you might not have liked him, but to make fun of him on his death bed is very low!!!!
Your the one who should relax, I just found it inappropriate thats all. Some of you guys need to relax with the whole "respect the dead" thing. Prince himself found this sketch funny but because he died it no longer is?
The dead know nothing. This sketch is a part of Prince lore now. Relax.
