If a cop had pulled the trigger I'm sure there would be protests, marches and who knows what.
A black man was killed at a do for another black friend of his that had been killed the week before.
In community killing will probably lead to another.
Nobody will come forward with info.
The police will be blamed.
I'll be called racist for noticing they weren't East Indian, Asian, Latino...:rolleyes:

It'a shame that their agenda is strictly against LE and not looking into the bigger picture. Regardless of what the stats bear out, re; LE/black shootings, LE/white/latino/asian, stats for black/white/asian/latino/LE shootings and the stats for black/black, white/white, black/white, latino/white, et al stats are and their correlation in the bigger picture.

Couple of things:

BLM doesn't have the same argument that their American counterparts do. I mean, police shootings up here are very rare. And the last one they're protesting about was a black dude who was armed, but was also mentally ill.

That being said, the whole issue of carding is what they're most upset about. I think they have a point. I'm white (as I'm sure most of you are), and I've rarely been hassled by the cops. I got yelled at once for jay walking, and I've had OPP cruisers pace me on the 401 when I'm going 125, but not been stopped. If I was black, would that have happened? Who knows.

And when it comes to black on black crime, the reason people don't come forward are two-fold. One, they don't trust cops (because of carding and other BS), and two, they know if they get caught snitching, they could be next for attack.

As for the media, it bothers me that during the so-called "year of the gun", it only became a big issue when a white girl got shot on boxing day.

It was a big issue before Boxing Day in 2005.

1) Why is the school dropout rate for black youths so high?

The media made a big issue about the about the boxing day shooting because at the busiest time of year on Yonge st a 15 year old girl shopping on boxing day lost her life because some idiots decided to have shoot out not because she was white.

See this gets me every time, people throwing thses strong statements without backing them up or providing their own value. Who knows maybe he has a point, but the way he left is leaving us to speculate his intentions. Not only this, but it pours fuel onto a fire without any control thus leaving one to question the true intentions.

It minimizes the criticisms of the black community (or "blacks" as this gimp puts it) as whining simply because a black man dies. The BLM movement is about calling into question the abuse of power at which hands black men are dying unjustly. When it's two members of the same community, while still tragic, there is no element of an authority figure imposing their authority illegally on another person and therefore is outside the scope of what BLM is trying to focus attention on. But instead the OP sets up a strawman argument and even worse makes the unbelievable claim that police may even be blamed for his death. Where is there any indication of that? If he can provide any evidence to this fact I will eat my words. But I bet you he can't. Because nobody has said such a thing. Didn't stop him from making the claim though did it?

Everybody has their reality.
It's only a democracy if everyone has a say.
I've never worried about being politically correct and say it as I see it from my perspective.
We should listen to Barca even if he is wrong.:deadhorse:

She was corrected by one BLM female Protester who insisted it was only against Black People.

Nice they can play well with others and care about all communities.....

Although I do believe that police sometimes are too quick on the trigger and their training should evolve as well as the investigations of these shootings needs to be more independent, I am equally concerned that blacks kill 100's of blacks for every 1 killed by police. What is BLM doing about this mass carnage ? Seems like a couple every week in T.O.
