Thought I heard on the news that one of the protesters at Queen's Park was complaining that they were standing outside in the cold and in the hail? The protesters went home because the canadian weather is racist and became cold on purpose.

I had not thought of that angle, but you are probably correct. The protesters went home because the canadian weather is racist and became cold on purpose.
No, it's not ridiculous, he is absolutely correct.Such a fucking ridiculous and ignorant comment.
I didn't take his argument to mean that the police will be blamed directly for his death, but they will be blamed by some for not catching the guys who did the killing. (Hard to catch a guy when no one comes forward with information.)It minimizes the criticisms of the black community (or "blacks" as this gimp puts it) as whining simply because a black man dies. The BLM movement is about calling into question the abuse of power at which hands black men are dying unjustly. When it's two members of the same community, while still tragic, there is no element of an authority figure imposing their authority illegally on another person and therefore is outside the scope of what BLM is trying to focus attention on. But instead the OP sets up a strawman argument and even worse makes the unbelievable claim that police may even be blamed for his death. Where is there any indication of that? If he can provide any evidence to this fact I will eat my words. But I bet you he can't. Because nobody has said such a thing. Didn't stop him from making the claim though did it?
yawn!the protesters went home because the canadian weather is racist and became cold on purpose.
The Toronto Sun’s Sue-Ann Levy reveals that Kathleen Wynne’s partner Jane called police hours after a Black Lives Matter protest gathered outside the premier’s home.
I did not go into that much detail, but the Captain got it about right.I didn't take his argument to mean that the police will be blamed directly for his death, but they will be blamed by some for not catching the guys who did the killing. (Hard to catch a guy when no one comes forward with information.)
You can have a horrific situation like Drake's concert last fall in which a completely innocent young woman was shot in a cross fire between black gang / drug dealers and even when there was 100s of people, no one saw anything. That alone speaks volumes.
Do we really need to show this, there are ignorant people of all colors! If you are black or white and you hang around people who act like this, you are hanging around the wrong people!
They don't get this. They're just looking for a "gotcha!" moment.Do we really need to show this, there are ignorant people of all colors! If you are black or white and you hang around people who act like this, you are hanging around the wrong people!
This argument is a little weak. Other cultures go to the police and report. It's not a race thing at all.Couple of things:
BLM doesn't have the same argument that their American counterparts do. I mean, police shootings up here are very rare. And the last one they're protesting about was a black dude who was armed, but was also mentally ill.
That being said, the whole issue of carding is what they're most upset about. I think they have a point. I'm white (as I'm sure most of you are), and I've rarely been hassled by the cops. I got yelled at once for jay walking, and I've had OPP cruisers pace me on the 401 when I'm going 125, but not been stopped. If I was black, would that have happened? Who knows.
And when it comes to black on black crime, the reason people don't come forward are two-fold. One, they don't trust cops (because of carding and other BS), and two, they know if they get caught snitching, they could be next for attack.
As for the media, it bothers me that during the so-called "year of the gun", it only became a big issue when a white girl got shot on boxing day.
What you say is true, but the point is that the "black lives matter" protesters and many others don't realize theDude cmon ... Protest against cops or city hall sells in the media and that's y it's a story.
Ppl killing ppl is just a blurb and notification. Can't tell a story out of that
And guess what... If it was brown guys killing we wud be labelled as terrorists...if it's Asian guys it's Asian gangs...if it's Latino guys probably cartel mofos.
Media reports on stories they can milk and sell.
BLM is doing what every "minority" blame the white man, and this horrible white society that they have created.Although I do believe that police sometimes are too quick on the trigger and their training should evolve as well as the investigations of these shootings needs to be more independent, I am equally concerned that blacks kill 100's of blacks for every 1 killed by police. What is BLM doing about this mass carnage ? Seems like a couple every week in T.O.
Really so ignorant - So every minority blames the white man, that is total crap. Are you a white supremacist supporter.BLM is doing what every "minority" blame the white man, and this horrible white society that they have created.
Lol.... . My quote was partly sarcastic, but if you pay close attention, and peel away the layers, you will find that it is quite true.Really so ignorant - So every minority blames the white man, that is total crap. Are you a white supremacist supporter.
