On the road with Willy
Seeing Sinatra at the original Sands in Vegas and he still knew the words to his songs.

I remember seeing Montreal win 4 cups in a row and laughing at Leaf's fans.

I'm still laughing at Leaf's fans, just not quit so hard.

I feel at home watching DVDS of The Rockford Files, Hee Haw, Laugh In, Hogan's Heros... Other than a few British series on PBS today's TV has nothing to offer me.

Me too but I think many girls view it as a carton of milk that is 20 years beyond the 'Best Before' date.

The two defining moments as I grew up was the first time I went to a hot night club and wondered why all the patrons were under the drinking age (they weren't) and when I noticed that every female clerk seemed to refer to me as 'sir'.
So then act like a bottle of wine. Remember this song. sung by a master. And the words are true. Young at heart. I know most won't understand but I really don't give a shit.

I realized I was old when I commented on a kids costume looking like an Ewok
Kid looks at me puzzled "what is an Ewok?"

I mean even Star Wars is in theatres
Shows you target audiences are old people and not kids anymore

You know you are old when you can remember fondly, helping the milkman deliver milk, and getting a bucket of water for his horse.

I remember the days when I first came to Toronto... there were seedy bars on the south side of Queen, just across from where the new city hall now stands.

The Brown Derby bar at Yonge and Dundas, United DeForest Cleaners next door where you could get your clothes washed, while you wait.

Ford drugs, just up the street, a 24 hour drug store..

The Ford Hotel! At Bay and Dundas!

OMIGOD, I AM old...

ah well, never mind...

I remember the time when you looked in the Yellow Pages for an outcall or you went to certain bars to pick up a lady of the night. If you were desperate or cheap, you drove around Jarvis, Gerrard, Sherborune, Queen, Shuter and River. I still remember the Harveys at Jarvis and Gerrard. So much more civilized now

Anyone here looked up that column of "RMT" listing in the classified
section of the Toronto Sun for the location and contact of the entire
MP industry in GTA? I can still remember a handful of names in the list
like Judy Torrens, Cynthia Robson, Janet Bell, Melinda Page ...

I remember when gas cracked the dollar a gallon marker and the pumps couldn't register the price.
It was a Sunday and I went to put in $10. I didn't see the sign saying you had to double what the pump showed. It took a long time to get the $10 in I thought.
When I went to pay it was $20 bucks.
Screwed my whole afternoon.
This is long before banking machines so I only had $7 for the rest of the day.
I had a full tank though, so I spent the rest of the day cruising.

You know your old when you bend over to tie your shoes and you think to yourself, "Is there anything else that needs to be done while I'm down here?"
