Ethical question regarding Genital Warts

If an SP is diagnosed with visible genital warts what do people think if she intends to work both before and after she has them removed? I'd like to know the opinion of both hobbyists and SP's. My biased is that I'm disgusted but I should mind my own business. Am I over reacting? Keep in mind HPV is common but not communicable after a year or less after getting it. Furthermore, even after the warts are removed HPV is still contagious. Thanks!

HPV is ... not communicable after a year or less after getting it.

even after the warts are removed HPV is still contagious.
Do you often contradict yourself?

I did some research. HPV can still be contagious after the warts are removed and the warts can even return. Warts are caused by a couple of the many strains of HPV. HPV is contagious anywhere from a month or two to a year or even more. That's according to what I read from credible sources and from talking to a health care professional who knows quite a bit about this subject. I was asking about the ethics of continuing to see people when you know you're contagious. I also know the estimated probabilities of getting it from one contact with an infected person. I didn't post this for the medical expertise of the people on this board. Again, I want to hear people's view on the ethics of this.

Would the same question apply if a client that has visible genital warts (or any other STD) chose to see escorts? There's no ethical dilemma in my mind because if you choose to be an SP or client you also choose the potential consequences.

I don't think it matters if you're a client, an sp or a civilian. I think if you have a known STI you should avoid contact or inform you're partner. Obviously, most people would be in agreement if it was HIV.

Do you really think anyone would say that it would be OK?

Since communicable and contagious mean the same thing one of those statements is incorrect.

She seems to think it's okay Shack. I think it's actually horrible and frankly on some level I feel bad that I can't do anything about it.

HPV is contagious for a few months to one year or more. Then the body takes care of it. You still have it but it's not communicable anymore. That's a general statement for HPV in general. I believe the time period is the same for all strains regardless if they give you warts on not. Only a couple of strains give people warts. If the warts are removed you can still be contagious for a while.

Are you completely sure that it's Genital Warts and not Pearly Papules (for women Vestibular Papillae)? Because there is a difference between both.

Papules/Papillaes are only an abnormal skin condition; a skin deformity that is often confused with Genital Warts but are not even remotely contagious nor sexually transmitted.

She could simply have Papules/Papillaes and yet you're confusing it for Genital Warts?

It sounded like you were just asking hypothetically in the 1st post.

Vinny. The doctor diagnosed her. I knew her before she got into the business. She called me because she knew I was good at research and had a background in some math. She originally wanted me to help figure out who likely gave it to her because she, at least says, only did bareback with her "manager" and he claims he's clean. I learned that condoms are ineffective for HPV so he might be telling the truth. There's no way of knowing, just assessing probabilities. Also because it's communicable for so long and you have no idea when you got it there's no way to tell who gave it to her, not that you can really blame someone if they didn't know. I got a sickening feeling after because she went from really upset having an almost blasé attitude. I searched her on Backpages and voila!!!!

Lots of communicable STIs out there
Funny Johns get all worried yet seem to not care about meeting an SP when they know they are infected

More interesting question would be if you paid then saw something would you demand a refund?

Condoms dont work on a whole bunch of things
There was a molluscum outbreak at a certain spa about a year ago (which although not fatal are certainly annoying)

TeeJay. I can't imagine a john seeing a sp when they're infected. It's screwing with her health and livelihood.

So she did bbfs with her manager, PIMP. He claims he is clean. You can have hpv and not have any Symptoms.
If she was diagnosed with this she should quit the business. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Isnt it illegal to have sex without disclosing that you have an std. I know that it is if you have HIV.

Yes, it is a criminal offence of assault to knowingly have sex while being infected with a communicable disease.

Not only is it unethical, it is immoral.

HPV IS a known pre-cursor to cancer of the esophagus (ask Michael Douglas who got it from eating pussy), Cervical cancer, anal cancer, oral cancers etc. So exposure to her HPV could expose hundreds of men's wives and girlfriends to cervical cancer which is often fatal... thereby leaving children without a mother at a young age.

So, while you certainly should not "out" her publicly as it would expose you to civil liability and frankly, would not be effective anyways.... I think you might want to consider reporting her to the Provincial Medical Officer of Health if you believe she will continue to offer sexual services to the public despite her infection status.

They will not arrest her. They may simply counsel her on the reality, risks and legal obligations and criminal risks she now faces.

And for those who are going to mutter "RAT".... go fuck yourselves. Better yet, go fuck her.
