So my morning routine has been disrupted. I wake up to the lovely Caroline Cameron every morning but lately I have to switch to Newsworld to not see or hear that irritating Subway Deck The Halls jingle. I cannot tolerate even a second of that commercial - I hate it with a passion. And Subway is the worst food you can eat, you're better off at Timmy's. Their supposed whole wheat subs are actually made of white flour with food colouring.

And I miss Mr Sub. Fuck you Subway, may the larvae of 10 million lice infest the loins of Subway's upper management.

I wouldn't call it the worst food you can eat, but certainly they shouldn't advertise their whole wheat bread as being whole wheat, considering it's not. If they had healthier breads and meats, I'd eat there a lot more often.

I cut out all wheat a few yrs back, and its incredible the extra weight you lose, and how your body and joints feel better.

If I must indulge into a sub, Chloe is quite accurate, its Quiznos! I love them.

Hopefully one of their wheatless subs.

I really enjoy a good sub, therefore I don't buy them in Canada.
For a really, really good sub, hop in your vehicle, cross the border and go to Wegman's.
They are huge on fresh buns topped with so much stuff.
I'm a good sized guy and if I eat more than half I'm so full I have to take a nap and write the rest of the day off.
They use good quality meats and they just load all the veggies on.
Their assorted is easily twice the weight of a Subway or Mr. Sub.
Mmm, mmm I just may have to go later.

P.S. don't forget Subways special taste enhancer, rubber exercise mat in the bun.

I had panago for the first time yesterday and I have to admit, it was pretty good. Slightly more than Pizzaville or Pizza Nova (bad, not as bad as Pizza Pizza), but yeah, breads/carbs, get a damn pizza. You may even possibly have left overs as well.

Used to be amazing, I think head office blew their opportunity when Subway came to town and they took it for granted. Mr. Sub was great, still is good, has a more natural taste if you will.

Sadly many of the Quiznos have closed shop. By far the best sub place. Turkey bacon guacamole is the bomb.

I would have to disagree with the others in this thread about Quiznos -- I tried a sub there one time (based on feedback from friends who have raved about it), and found it to be average at best. But then again, I'm not particularly a huge fan of subs -- I have the odd one at Subways, which is decent enough for me (and while not especially healthy, is probably no worse and perhaps somewhat better healthwise than many of the other fast-food joints around).

They're all good.
About every second or third time I'm there I'll get the roast beef with double meat, all the veggies which is substantial American cheese and no dressing. When I get home I put horseradish Mayo on. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! :thumb:
Usually I get back late morning, so half is my early meal. With a salad in the evening it's dinner.
And I'm full. The whole day.
The Mericans know how to do it right.
Or a good greasy pizza from Good Fellas. That's today and a good part of tomorrow covered and no dishes.
