Can you believe it? Brandon has not pitched since May 2 for the Padres. He is presently on the 15 day DL and is scheduled for an MRI on his ailing shoulder/arm/back etc. It is hard to believe that one could be injured so much. He, Maicer Izturis and Brent Lawrie are injury-prone wastes of talent.

That's one sore point with me, I don't think the Jays pitchers do enough to protect their own hitters. They need to start drilling opponents just to make a point.

On another point that has me pissed, dumb ass no brains and less talent umpire throws Osuna for hitting a batter in a situation where no team would intentionally hit a batter, why didn't he throw Cecil when he hit a batter?

I tried to stay open minded with Cecil but I'm done. Too reminiscent of the Kevin Gregg era. I would give Delabar the job rather than someone like Osuna or Hendriks.

Either have to pay the price for Papelbon or find another starter and move Sanchez(when and if he returns) to closer. Cecil is an adequate reliever but IMO he does not have the stuff to be a closer, physically or mentally. Is there anybody else available that could help?

I cannot believe that the BoSox rumour is worth taking seriously. Boston's season has collapsed. If they had anything worth SELLING, it would be close to fire sale time.

Personally, I am glad that Osuna got tossed. His control was awful and the tossing gave us a chance to bring in Delabar and warm him up.
