You should inform the Cy voters of this mistake of theirs as it is usually one of the, if not the, most important factors in their voting. So much for putting a lot on the pitchers w/l record.
You're right. They should know better. You should inform the Cy voters of this mistake of theirs as it is usually one of the, if not the, most important factors in their voting.
They should know better.
Why just tonight? How about all his moves have been good enough to win 9 in a row. A genius move giving Todd Redmond that spot start a while back.As we always blame losses on Gibby, should we assume it was his brilliant management this time for the comeback?
They had a very similar come back against Cincinnati last year. http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2014/06/20/blue_jays_stun_reds_with_nearrecord_comeback.htmlThis is like the most unbelievable Jays game I've ever followed in my life.
.
BBL, ... during that inning ( and the rest of the game for that matter) kept wondering how Buck would have called it!!.....these guys are just out of their minds right now....RAD can keep it going today..They had a very similar come back against Cincinnati last year. http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2014/06/20/blue_jays_stun_reds_with_nearrecord_comeback.html
I watched that game last year in almost disbelieve. I didn't get to last night's live as I was working. I did watch it as "jays game in 30 minutes" at like 2 am, and realized rob faulds was calling the game which made me want to slit my throat, and that was the half hour version. I wouldn't have been able to watch the whole thing with him calling the game.
Who is "we"? Try not to paint us all with the same brush. As we always blame losses on Gibby, should we assume it was his brilliant management this time for the comeback?
Drunk texting is no excuse. You gotta take responsibility for everything you type.I actually posted that while I'm having my 8th vodka and coke.
Sorry, if its all fvcked up
Pedroia just hit a 97 MPH out of the park
No batter in the 1990's wouldve even come close to a fastball like that!!!!!
Randy Johnson gave up 183 home runs in MLB during the 1990's.
Are you seriously claiming that not one of those pitches were 97 (or faster) mph ?
You do know that it's easier to hit a faster pitch a long way than a slower one?
Speed of a pitch isn't the key factor for a pitcher, but rather, movement on that pitch.
I honestly dont know how fast his pitches were when he served up his homers.
I played poker last night. When I got there about 7:45 I said to put on the game. The guys said they turned it off because they were down 5-0 in the first.I figured it was over.
You are right , they should. That might give some of them credibility! You should inform the Cy voters of this mistake of theirs as it is usually one of the, if not the, most important factors in their voting.
They should know better.
You keep on saying that but never back it up.Baseball more than any other sport, the manager has least impact on the outcome of the game.
Most knowledgeable people in the game will tell you otherwise...
