• you're on a website that (allegedly )promotes prostitution.
• that most sex workers at one point were sexually abused in their lives (take it from someone who's dated a few strippers).
• many of you sleep with SP's who wouldnt wanna walk on the same side of the street as you.
• you now engage in illegal behaviour (thanks Mr. Harper).
• Every time you book an SP you are technically a criminal and possibly a sex offender (thanks again Mr. Harper).

This prank is not so harmless if lady reporters can't be put on the air at location because pranksters will harass them. For the ladies this is a real employment issue.

Labor lawyer was on the radio and said Hydro can fire the guy, the debate in court would be how much severance should the guy receive, if any. Also a judge would not likely look favorably at the pranksters actions.

At least a moment's consideration should be given to how a guy who wants to prove he can be brainless dork just because a camera's pointing at him can be qualified to hold a responsible engineering position in a corporation whose smooth functioning is essential for the livelihood and the very lives of so many people.

I'm inclined to think he didn't get proper process at termination, but he certainly gave lots of after-the-fact evidence he was an unwise choice at the hiring end.

I disagree. What people do in their private time should have no bearing on their work lives. I'm not sure what you do for a living, but I wonder if the people you work with, or society in general, might think your hobbying is grounds for termination.

Schlong says his friend's beauty has become a curse. She is always getting unwanted attention. Your response seems to be that he has a decent point, but the point is valid only if the woman has been abused. Therefore if Shauna Hunt was never abused, she should not be offended.

Have know ladies who would get upset crying because some guy honked their horn and yelled crap and them while driving because of some perceived mistake. Doubt these same guys would yell out crap if the other driver was a biker or gang banger type. In this and the FHITP situation guys are taking advantage of the situation because the other person is a lady.

Thanks for seeing the point.

As to Shauna Hunt. Correct, we don't know how abused she was. Certainly, she considers random men coming within a foot of her face to yell into the mic "FUCK HER RIGHT IN THE PUSSY" as harassment while she is trying to do her job, it is harassment of a sexual nature, and therefore verbal sexual abuse. It could be argued, that if anyone who now subsequently harasses her in the same way, and it could be proven that they knew she had been similarly harassed by others, that a charge of criminal Harassment could be laid.

In any case, the takeaway is that we never know who has been the victim of sexual abuse, whether childhood or otherwise, or just gets anxiety over the constant bombardment of comments and pick up lines walking down the street. So we should conduct ourselves as civilized men and be respectful of women and people in general.
