Just curious what the Terb community thinks about the FHITP debate.

I think these jerks should suffer whatever consequences come their way.
It's almost inconceivable that grown men would act like immature teenagers in public and expect people to find it funny.

Old. Lame. Overdone.
I think I may have laughed the first time I saw it, like 2 years ago.
The Shauna Hunt video is great... the douchebags make complete fools of themselves, with their faces totally identifiable.
One guy just got has ass fired from a $100k+ Hydro One job, and the other guy, well, everyone who recognizes him probably has made it clear that they think he is a loser.

As much as he deserved it, there is no way the Hydro One union going to let this guy lose his job over this, unless of course he is in a non-unionized management job, but by the looks of him that is highly unlikely.

I think that many soccer/football fans act like classless goons as part of their parroted routine. However, this FHITP directed at a decent female reporter just shows what classless imbecile fucktards they really are.

This crosses the line and I think MLSE is well justified in banning these fans from MLSE properties for life. If not to just send a message to other classless louts.

In this age of social media every one of them will be identified and will pay a price for their behaviour.

However, as much as I think it is loathsome and abusive, I can't see how HydroOne can fire this guy for his private activity outside work that he did nothing to identify himself as a Hydro One employee. If he was wearing a HydroONe hat or t-shirt or jacket or if he was a readily identifiable HydroOne public figure, that would be different.

If they fire him for this I think he would have a case for wrongful dismissal... IF he weren't a Union member! LMAO!!! But because he is a union member and his employment contract is a collective agreement, I don't think he has employment law protection, just what the collective agreement provides. Maybe the collective agreement has some good behaviour/morality provision? But I doubt the union will go to the mat with Hydro One or go on strike over this douchebag getting fired.

A "harmless prank" that the police would pursue charges, if asked
Yup, and thanks for bringing that up, because criminal charges over that is even more retarded.

Political correctness run amuk. Thanks Liberals

I heard his Hydro One job is an engineer. Not sure if they are unionized or not. I'm not sure when this whole fad started, but I obviously missed it earlier. I heard it a few months ago, I think even on the local London station, and laughed my ass off. Obviously it was a copycat thing of something that is more widespread than I thought. So, for it to still be happening makes it long since stale in my mind. I don't think it warrants losing a job, it certainly doesn't harm Hydro One's reputation, indeed what the hell could bring their reputation down any more lol.

You're a fucking idiot.
What's your mom's address, or your sister's address?
I'll mosey on by, ring the doorbell and say "I want to fuck you right in the pussy".
You're good with that, right?

While I don't consider it a harmless prank, I can't imagine any criminal code charge that would stick. Someone at Kingston PD went off the Reservation to tweet "Cause Disturbance seems to apply.". Not a fucking chance. The TV camera's clearly document the extent of the "disturbance"...none. It caused a civil conversation. Especially in the context of a typically raucous soccer event.

Sexual harassment in a "workplace" is also a stretch considering they are not co-workers.

Being an asshole is still not against the law.

Fire him.

And fire the HydroOne manager who thinks sports tickets are a good use of Ontario taxpayers money.
I used to work for a publicly funded organization for 10 years. Vendors gave us sporting tickets all the time. No tax dollars were spent. It's called 'relationship management'.

Your lack of protest suggests that you are fine with my suggestion then.
Address(es) please...
You thought the prank was rude, but you have no problem calling me an idiot. Hypocrisy much??

And can I have your address as well so I can introduce your wife to your Terb handle??

The 'prank' is uncalled for and blatantly harassing... calling you an idiot is fact, stating fact, while possibly unpleasant to hear, is not hypocritical.

Who says I have a wife?
