OK, use of the word "all" may have been an exaggeration. I think we'd agree though that the large majority of revenues are in C$, and so my argument holds.

It's hard to say how much. MLB has deals in place that all teams benefit from, including the TV elephant and licensing agreements. There is also some revenue sharing.

I agree that the majority is in CD's but I still think the USD portion is significant.

I'd be interested to see exactly what the ratio is.

Some guy on BBB has explained it as follows:

"40% of the salary budget is covered in USD from TV and media revenue. 1/3 of the revenue stream is covered by revenue sharing as a visiting team. Therefore , approx. 27% salary budget or 45 million dollars is affected by the drop of the CDN from last years cross rate."

I'm assuming he knows what he's talking about.
