He did the Jays in tonight, must have felt good to knock off the team that gave up on him. And he just got called up after posting some good numbers at AAA.Arencibia is back in town... thankfully in the visitors clubhouse.

But I would also ask the question what team is deep enough that they can lose their starting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd basemen. As well as a star outfielder and best DH all at the same time. And bring players up to competantly replace all of them?I think that is the key, right there!
It says tons about AA's performance as GM over the past 5 years...
From AA to MLB the BJ's are thin in developed talent.

Wow, looking for the definition of 'whiner' it will have a pic of Lewis.
Lewis has a bit of a point ? WTF ?Lewis has a bit of a point. Rasmus bunted for a single with 2 out and nobody on and then he didnt try to steal second. That means they need 2 more hits to score him or the nexy guy has to jack one out. However, if it was practice so maybe he does it in future leading off an inning....and I think more guys should be doing that against the shift.
+1.Rasmus' first concern is to get on base. He, nor does any other player, has no obligation to do what the other team/pitcher wants him to do.
First of all, a double or a triple would have also scored him. With two outs, you run on contact if not a full count and you run on the throw otherwise.Lewis has a bit of a point. Did not make sense the first time you said it and it is just as nuts the second time ... maybe more crazy.I said a bit of a point. But yes, it also wasn't right for him to whine about it. I stand by my point that it was not a good idea to bunt in that situation. Try it leading off an inning to get something going.

Lewis is just a friggin cry baby. If he was upset at the bunt, he would have gone ballistic with a successful steal.Lewis has a bit of a point ? WTF ?

Ironhead has it right. The batters goal is to get on base. They had the shift on and he took what they gave him.
Baseball etiquette, for what it is worth is applied when one team is considered to have a safe lead. 2-0 in the 5th is not considered by anyone, that knows the game, a safe lead. With this years Jays team I'm not sure there is a safe lead.
Lewis has no point what so ever(at least in my opinion).
And the Orioles lost.2-game winning streak.
