Gaza Dinner Party

So I have an entertaining evening ahead of me tomorrow night, 4 couples getting together for dinner at a friends. Thing is, I'll be the only Goyam. It should be said up front that these people are amoung the nicest, most generous (if adverse to paying first price) people I've ever know.

Two of the couples are rabid zionists, Isreal is always correct, it's disloyal to even question it. Think Fuji. One of the couples is much more middle of the road but knows well enough to keep quiet as the rabid zionists will tolerate no discussion. My SO, very much like the middle of the road couple, perhaps slightly more anti-settlement than the moderates... And me. They've all sent their kids to Israel multiple times on what I would call indoctrination missions (I'm sure they would characterize it differently.

One thing we can all agree on, Hamas is bad - I don't think that's very controversial. Another is that rocket attacks are bad - that's easy.

The effectiveness of the Gaza "action", to call it a war as Fuji has just done would be too aggressive I think. This should be interesting.

Any advice?

I would turn the discussion to the soccer world cup, the future of the Dollar, the emertgence of the BRIC block, holidays in Mexico, language education in Kazakhstan, any subject but Gaza.

However I'm sure they'd all be fascinated by stories of your personal exploits with escorts, and you can explain that when you're not paying women for sex you're constantly on a forum dedicated to finding and discussing paying women for sex.

Well, if you missed the reference, I was recommending a popular product from the settlements. I wasn't necessarily recommending it for the taste.

Nonsense. If the Palestinians continue turning down opportunities to have a state the outcome for them will be a no state solution, no one in Israel will support an apartheid solution.

Most likely they would become a UN protectorate and after some time perhaps the territory returned back to Egypt and Jordan.
