I usually find that the only people that hate the word "Cunt", are the ones that are actually "Cunts".

An insult sucks. A racist insult especially sucks. Having said that you, yourself, decided to let it hurt. It is actually an option that you have whether something external affects your mood. 100% your choice.

Be a duck and let the water run off your back.

Racism comes in different shapes, color or form. I used to work in retail and Brown people would usually prefer to talk to brown staff...like I can't offer good customer service. And the fact that I trained most of the staff that worked with me. And the same with Asian customers and these are english speaking customers btw.

maybe it has to do with their experiences dealing with people who aren't their culture. as in , they were treated like shit.

Took my beer and walked away. It was all i could do not to drop this guy.

Lol. Racism is usually tied to other illogical situation because it in itself is illogical.

Stems from things like jealousy, lack of education in life terms as well as academically, and a train of thought possibly learned or ingrained into one by family and/or culture.

You know who is racists as they always play the card under circumstances that don't warrant it.

It also gives away the fact of what's in their heads/back of their minds.

I'm a visible minority and I refuse to let racial slurs get to me because that's what they want. No sense wasting time or energy on educating ignorant ass-holes especially if they are seniors.

Not the best word to use on a woman. Years ago, there was a bunch of us waiting in line to use an insta teller. One of the two machines opened up and a lady who just walked in went to the machine and started to use it. All of us just looked at each other in bewilderment. I walked up to the lady and said excuse me but you have to wait in line for the machine and she just looked at me an said, the line up was for the other machine not this one. She just kept going so I pushed the button to cancel the transaction. This pissed her off so she just started again and I did the same thing. She started to get really pissed at me so I said in a very soft tone listen "c". Didn't need to say anything else, she just started yelling at me, swearing and telling me she was going to call her husband. She ran into the branch to complain and drove off, assuming she was going to get her husband, i just went home. I have been told many times this is one of the worst words you can call a woman.

Can't believe you went out of your way to do that over something like so trivial, lol.

If you really want to get someone I see no problem with using a racist insult. It is the verbal equivilent to kicking someone in the nads. If you are motivated to get down and dirty you pull out the big guns.
Just because the insult is racist doesn't mean the person slinging it is racist or acting in a racist frame of mind.

I'd have no problems with calling someone a Frog or a baywop as long as they didn't know my background is part of each. If I want to hurt someone enough I'll go there. Of course if they know me enough to know I am one of them, calling them such things would be pointless. Like one fat guy calling another fat guy a fatass.
With racist insults its not kicking that one person in the nads, but in entire people. And if there are third parties there is a good chance that they'll view you as the asshole.

Fuck serious insults, I prefer insults erotically when both parties know they aren't meant or venting online about politicians and stuff, or humour. In Real Life if an interaction is turning that bad the last thing I want is to lose control of my actions to rage. I starting to look into Act Acceptance and Commitment theory.

If someone doesnt like you they can make fun of any of your physical characteristics, heck even personality traits. Race is just another trait people can use to insult you. Big whoop. I dont ever take it personal, because I know deep inside Im a good dude.

Addicted gamblers are so impatient. You should have said, "do you kiss your grandchildren with that mouth".

The Vietnam sub shop I take my lunches at call me Fantino, even though I keep reminding them that I'm not an asshole. So far I haven't been to a dim sum (want sum) restaurant without my buddy Hung Lo to place the order.

Unfortunately my buddy Hung Lo is a degenerate gambler. He jokingly keeps asking me for money and I half-jokingly remind him that I'm not a guy you want to owe money to. He works in a pizza joint, as a second job, to pay his debts. His wife isn't overjoyed, he's been sleeping on the couch for all of 2014 so far.

We should make the effort to be nice to people even when they are not nice to us.

For example, in my building I find the Chinese people are not very friendly. I try to be nice and talk to them. I even make the eyes and everything but they still seem a bit pissed.

Meh... people <shrug>

I don't recommend "making eyes" at any Asian especially to an Asian waiter.
