unlike the Chris Brown Incident people are finding it funny. it's funny when a man is assaulted by a woman but it is domestic violence if it is the other way around
Agreed.

She should be charged with assault.

This is one double standard that needs to end. I'm sick and tired of hearing women talk about "violence against women" and "rape culture" and yet there is any number of examples of women on men assault. (I know, I've had 3 women over the years hit me.) They think it's ok.

One thing about Jay Z - he kept his cool when she was attacking him.

(Dunno what started it, but it doesn't matter.)

She is probably pissed at both of them for mocking her in some way, or She is bitching at him for doing something wrong towards her sis.. (Calling him out for having some piece of ass on the side we all don't know about yet) Both scenarios explain Bey not doing shit when it went down..

And what source(s) do you have for this insight? Your two scenarios are so diverse (in one she's pissed at her sis and in the other she's sticking up for her) I suspect you really have absolutely no idea how this all came down. There are dozens of possible reasons for this.

If your brother hits your wife, that's not domestic violence either. If Beyonce were the one that hit Jay-Z, then you'd be correct about it being domestic violence. This would just be assault but if I'm not mistaken, it's only assault if the person who was assaulted files charges. So, if Jay-Z isn't calling it assault, it's not assault. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it. Of course, I'm not a lawyer. I might not be understanding it correctly at all.

It does not matter what he's calling it.

It's still her assaulting him.

Our society seems to think it's ok for a woman to hit a man, but not the other way round.

This double standard needs to end and this would be a great example case.

I'm hoping that the police pay her a visit.

Where was the bitch slap? Didn't look she connected with his face in the first part.

He probably fucked some other chick behind Beyonce's back.

But really, who fucking cares?

i doubt that Beyonce would be cool enough to just stand there as her sister defends her , because Jay z cheated... i m thinking JayZ is pretty grateful to bag a woman like Beyonce

She didn't exactly lift a finger to prevent or intervene so I'm guessing she felt her sister was justified at being pissed.

violence between family members is domestic violence. It could be spouses, siblings, cousins, this time it was a man attacked by his his sister in law. Its domestic violence.
Then I have a completely misunderstood definition of domestic violence. :-(

In Canada violence is classified as domestic only when romantic aspect is involved. Father-daughter, bro-bro etc is not domestic. The idea presumably is that romantic aspect adds a lot of risk of recurrence etc.
