Sad the Mayor couldn't do it! He had plenty of time, but kept doing his usual name calling to the police chief and councillors.
He actually said the video was from 2011. Besides, its a bit cold to be holding hands on the beach without 7 layers of clothes

Jimmy Kimmel countered the story (aka lie) Rob Ford was saying yesterday morning that stories that he was upset with Jimmy Kimmel are false. Rob fully expected the questions from Kimmel and had no problems with the way things went. Doug said that he phoned Kimmel and advised everyone should watch tonight for what he implied would be a Kimmel apology.
Kimmel last night noted that Rob Ford was upset but said that Kimmel heard that Fords arrival that he was not upset so instead of an apology Jimmy Kimmel said that it should have been quite apparent that Rob Ford was on the show because of habits. If Kimmel didn't talk to him about his crack cocaine use did people think he would ask him about his other hobbies ?

I'm not one to see a guy getting kicked while he's down, but what on earth possessed Ford to agree to appear on Kimmel, and what exactly did he expect to accomplish?? Did he honestly think he was going to get to talk about TO and its film industry?? Christ.
With currency and tax concessions, why not just move the show here! Rob Ford would work together with Gurremo.

Lol...This used to be my breakfast joint + I felt a special warmth when I saw the video...ha! BTW...just down Rexdale redrock makes some mean burgers. Is it wrong that I am very familiar with most of his famous POIs...
Not at all, the place holds many memories for me.
Here's one you'll find interesting. In the md 90's I still had my sound equipment and would do shows on weekends. The light man I employed has since become part of The Tragically Hip's road crew. Any this tall gangly kid prevented my mixer from getting stolen and those that attempted the heist took exception. They planned retribution on him and I wasn't about to let that happen. After we tore down I took him with me to Steak Queen and we were followed by them on the way. Before I left the club I phoned my cousin and told him to me us there. The situation looked tense as the thougs planned their attack, then my cousin showed up with a few of his buddies. Knowing that they risked severe beatings they quickly cleared out, and we settled in for midnight munchies.
