We talk a lot about hygiene here. How about applying our rightful concern for that to climate change---yes doubters, it's complex, I know---and its good-for-nothing effect on the very air we need to take in to live.
Yes, air quality is currently not great.
But it is a one or two weeks a year worst case sort of transient thing.
Nothing like when we had leaded gas, or when Britains burned coal for domestic heating.
Or like folks who smoke cigarettes.
Or likely folks who vape today once we figure what long term lung effects they have.
