I've never chimed in on other threads regarding shootings in the US, but for some reason this just really disturbs me. Maybe this story is the story that broke the camels back for me, maybe because it just such an over-reaction from the shooter. In other shooting cases, with the exception of Zimmerman, there is some sort of mental cause/excuse.
It makes good cops look bad. Even if he did feel threaten, apparently he did leave but came back. It's such a trivial matter, and the suspect being a former cop should definitely have reacted better. At least he wasn't granted bail.
