Greg Neeld, had an eye taken out by a highstick in Jr. hockey. He was drafted by the Sabres, but could not play him due to NHL rule that players must be able to see in both eyes.
He did however was able to play a handful of games for the Toronto Toros of the WHA in 75-76.
