Did you catch Ms Anderson in her latest endeavour the BBC The Fall where she plays much the same character in Dublin, no accent but she looks fine and acts very well. It will continued hopefully next season.

The Fall was a great show. It is my understanding that another season is in the works.
Trapper John M.D. and Diagnosis Murder were great hospital shows that I miss.
Don't need remakes, just some station to show reruns of shows like Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and WKRP In Cincinnatti.

They did resurrect it several years later, with only Arthur Carlson, Les Nessman and Herb Tarlek carrying over from the original cast (although a few originals made guest appearances). Tawny Kitaen replaced Loni Anderson as the resident cleavage. It was OK, but not as good as the original.
I'm not so keen to see the great shows rebooted. They ran their course and (in many cases) made a graceful exit.
The only shows I'd be interested in seeing come back were the good series that got canned way too early.
A show I thought was canned way too early was "Michael Tuesday and Thursday" on CBC. Interesting that Seinfeld almost got cancelled after their first season. What a shame that would have been.
