So this is your new duck, dive and run schtick, is it?. You get asked questions you don't like or are shown how silly some of your comments are, so you post this. It should really impress both of your fans.
What sidelined JB has been talked about constantly on the Jays baseball broadcasts and sport reports since his last collision. You only would have missed it if you were living under a rock.
taking Bautista out for the rest of the season is not something to whine about or any reason to question him about - it's a smart move by the organization to ensure he's healthy for next year.
The Jays didn't even let him play in the World Series of Baseball - for the same reason. Bautista isn't to blame and he's not being a wimp - it's just a smart move on the Organization's part.
I have a messed up knee - and I favour it .... so I tend to get other injuries. If Jose has an injury - I don't want to see him play and get a more serious injury because he's soldiering-on during meaningless games.
I am glad we have the injuries we have - how else would we have witnessed Goins or Pillar, or had the chance to have another look at Sierra or Gose? These games are meaningless other than to build upon 2014.
If we were going to the playoffs Bautista would be there - given our current situation, it's best he's done for the season.
I am seriously optimistic about next year - I'm even planning to go to a few more games this season (I want that touque lol).

Bautista - no - never. He is the face of the franchise. I don't want to lose him.
(btw - once Hutchison is back... Johnson is gone.... who knows about Morrow.... Rogers and Redmond have huge potential.... we may not be as desperate for pitching in 2014 as it feels right now).
If I could choose who to get rid of it'd be Izturis, Arencebia (though that hurts me to say...), Lind (again - don't really wanna lose him), and Rasmus.
I love them all - but I would hate to lose anyone else (praying Rajai is a Jay next year....)
Gose had a shyte season in Buffalo but he's rocking up here (I think he gets bitchy when he's not up here.... but he is good). He can catch too - (think he caught a game last year...) though he is a natural center fielder - maybe the Jays should try him out catching a bit (?).
Sierra will be the next Encarnation.
Goins has only played a few games but he's starting second base material for sure. He needs to be here next year.
I agree. My concern is why Jose seems to be always getting hurt? From memory, I remember he hurt his ankle running to 1B, then he hurt his back bending over to pick up ground balls at 3B and now this hip thing. Last year he hurt his wrist swinging a bat.
Hope he has a healthy 2014.
These games are not entirely meaningless as it would be good for the team to end the season on a high, to give them and the fans some confidence for a better season next year. They have played much better recently and could have swept that last series.
Will be interesting to observe over the remaining games how well Redmond and Rogers perform. A strong finish could give one or both chances for starting next season. Hutchison if he can regain his 2012 form could also find a way back into that line-up.

I too like Goins but he hasn't been here long enough to be sure he can perform consistently. I would expect his hitting tp fall off as teams get to see more of him. Defensively, by far the best second baseman the Jays have had this year
No doubt in my mind they will be looking for starters. Happ Rogers and Redmond will have to prove themselves over the last month and then again in the spring, assuming AA doesn't trade any of them away.
Big improvement by Happ last night. Twins won't be happy with 2 runs from 11 hits though.
Season ends with series versus every other AL East team. Will be interesting to see how the call-ups do in those games and the pitchers as well, of course, to show that improvements by Dickie and Buerhle were sustained.

Happ was better, but his ass was saved by the D a few times. Lawrie, Reyes, Gose and Sierra all played excellently in the field. What a difference from early season!
