Are you saying that the Jays wasted another 32nd round pick?Ho hum, another loss in Tampa. This Pillar kid is in way over his head, 0 for 13 should send him back down.

Pillar has promise but he swings the bat like Woody Allen. His faulty mechanics don't allow him to make decent contact, Gose is struggling as well but his mechanics are better developed. Neither of them will be able to drive the ball with brute strength like Edwin Encarnacioooooooon.Ho hum, another loss in Tampa. Well saxon, at least you've given him a fair shot.Ho hum, another loss in Tampa. This Pillar kid is in way over his head, 0 for 13 should send him back down.
I agree. I think the manager and coaches need to keep morale high, analyze why certain players aren't performing up to expectations, etc. Its interesting that the Dodgers have a dozen or so ex players on their coaching staff. Some very renowned ones such as Mattingly, Honeycutt, McGwire, Lopes, Wallach and on. Even Sandy Koufax is in some special capacity. Have to believe these guys are more effective than the Jays staff.OK... bottom line... once again!
MANAGEMENT 101: a good manager must inspire his team... he is the glue that binds the individuals together, so that they perform at their level of competence and talent and play together as a team... like the conductor of a symphony orchestra.
This bullshit that the players, not the manager, perform out on the field is just that: bullshit. The conductor is not called upon to play the violin, clarinet or trombones, either!
If that does not make sense to you, then do not pursue a career in management, whatever the field.
If you have seen Gibbons' TV interviews and his after-the-game press conferences, you know without any doubt that the concept and word "inspiration" does not belong in his catalog of talents nor in his dictionary.
The BJ's have been like an orchestra without a conductor all year...

Dream on.Can the Jays pay Robinson Cano 1 billion dollars to play in Canada for them next season? Man, he would look so good playing along side with Reyes. If Cano comes to Toronto,we can start printing WS tickets! LOL.
Even with more money I don't think Cano would agree to play at the Rogers Centre. Cano would prefer grass at Yankees over the 'stupid' field turf the Jays playing on right now.Dream on.
I wish... but Jay-Z there's no way Jay-Z will let him leave New York. Can the Jays pay Robinson Cano 1 billion dollars to play in Canada for them next season? Man, he would look so good playing along side with Reyes. If Cano comes to Toronto,we can start printing WS tickets! LOL.
Even if we have Cano, we won't make the playoffs. We need a surplus of good pitching. This team just sucks right now in all directions. Our pitching sux, our defence sux, our hitting sux.Can the Jays pay Robinson Cano 1 billion dollars to play in Canada for them next season? Man, he would look so good playing along side with Reyes. If Cano comes to Toronto,we can start printing WS tickets! LOL.
Cano is a Yankee for life, ala Jeter, Rivera, Mantle, Posada, Williams. The chance of him ever in a BJ uniform is zero.Even with more money I don't think Cano would agree to play at the Rogers Centre. Cano would prefer grass at Yankees over the 'stupid' field turf the Jays playing on right now.
Unless do I hear one billion?? Pay him more than A-roid contract,he maybe reconsider. Yes,dream on...lol.
The joke is that during training camp I heard Bautista say, "I don't see what can go wrong".Bautista now on 15 day DL with a bum hip. What else can go wrong with this team? This seasons has turned into an effing joke.
