Ooh, a Stereoscope late 19th century you put two photographs taken from slightly different positions into the clips and when you looked through your brain made it into a 3D image.
Pocket size transistor radio. Freedom to listen to pop music (and stupid ads) anywhere you went. Popular on beach blankets, also under bedroom blankets so you're parents couldn't tell you were listening to the radio late at night. Helped fuel success for rock radio, since teens didn't have to listen to their parents' choice of music on the Hi-Fi in the living room. AM band only.
This one looks pretty primitive, so I'll guess circa '55 to '60.

If I remember correctly there where Gold, Silver and Bronze patches but if you could not earn one you got that lapel pin.
