Ticket price does not take the pleasure away from my putting my feet up on the coffee table, having a Blue in hand, watching the game unfold. Or better yet, at a sport bar, sipping my fav brew with a couple of buddies, shooting the breeze, clenching my hands in agony, pumping it up when the light is up (right red light that is)... If I am lucky enough, getting a complimentary ticket, HEAVEN.
This talk about pricing is there all the time, what the use of beating a dead horse? Every team doing it, if they can. Tell me you would not when the buyers keep buying! I think people should get used to CAPITALISM at work here.
I call myself a fan in the sense that I love this city, love the game of hockey thus become a Leafs fan for so long. In no way I have "contribute" financially foolishly to the team in all these years. Been to a few games myself, on the complimentary basis so as most tickets are: corporate season tickets, diehard well to do fans...
To stand on the sideline, never go to a game, never have to fork out the dough for a pair of tickets, it is hard to understand the tone of some who will take any chance to bash the team, SOUR GRAPES!
