Only a jerk and a retard would think that the kid unintentionally got up off his chair, unintentionally ran to the spot where the ball was coming down, unintentionally put up his glove and unintentionally tried to catch the ball.
blah, blah, blah

Not this time, he is busy today meddling with the Masters. For once, he has an alibi
He penalized Tianlang Guan and Tiger Woods penalty strokes. Clearly Bettman is racist

Fkn Reyes is a china doll. That being said its all about our pitching. If we don't get that right we ain't going anywhere, even if Reyes hits .400 and plays all 162 games.

Hardly a China Doll.

Since 2005, here are Jose Reyes's games played:

2005 161
2006 153
2007 160
2008 159
2009 36 (calf injury & torn hamstring)
2010 133
2011 126
2012 160

Taking 2009 out of the equation, Reyes played 1052 games out of a possible 1134, 92.8% of possible games.
Even including 2009, he played in 83.95% of his team's games.

In 8 years, a player is entitled to 1 extended stay on the D.L. without being called a China Doll, I would think.

LOL

You're just here for the articles, right?
Never said that either. You sure do love reading them invisible words. How I found TERB and why I stay has been explained enough times when the double digit crowd makes the same accusations, but just because you can't or don't care to remember the answer is not really a good reason to repeat it again.

Reyes is placed on the 15 day disabled list. But that does not mean that he will be back in 15 days, and they expect him to miss 3 months. They need to take a second MRI scan in one week when the swelling goes down learn the full extent of the injury. Izturis will be the primary shortstop and we recalled Kawasaki from AAA In Reyes' absence.

They are sure it is a sprain but not sure just how bad yet. Often a sprain takes longer to heal than a clean break. Wonder if he should have dove into 2B head first like Pete Rose used to do.

For those who are unfamiliar.........
Munenori Kawasaki
31 years old
Japanese NPB lifetime yearly averages: .294, 3 HRs, 135 hits, 41 RBIs, 23 SBs
2 NPB gold gloves
6 NPB all star appearances
2 WBC appearances
Listed at 5 ft 10 in and 165 lb, Kawasaki is best described as a slap hitter, utilizing his exceptional bat control and speed to get on base
Kawasaki is considered by many to be a great base stealer, having led the NPB in steals in 2004 with 42, his career stolen base percentage is 70%
Played 61 games for the Mariners last year and hit a paltry .191 in 115 ABs

Bonifacio again!!! Watching him fielding a ball is like watching some little league kid sometimes.

Nice to see Toronto get the win, just hope the injury isn't 1-3 months or season ending. Also can't wait to see Lawrie back. I know the Jays don't want to rush him back, but I miss seeing him on 3rd and at bat.

Hope they win tonight.

I just love reading your post. Such a turn on to hear a hot women talk sports the way you do. I remember last year when we were talking about amazing catches and you posted one that was fake but thought it was real saying what a great catch it was. It was just adorable....lol.

Why is that?
He won't be back.
They'll tell you he'll be back and then he'll need more time to heal, and then it'll be September so might as well let him rest until next year.
Because Jose Reyes isn't going to make a difference to ticket sales. The jays record is what is going to bring the fans in. If they are winning, people will show up. If they are losing people won't. They're not thinking to themselfs "I would have went to the jays game today but Jose Reyes isn't playing so I'm not buying tickets". Besides, tickets sales don't do a whole lot for revenue earnings anyway. It looks nice cause the stadium is full and makes for better atmoshpere, but the money comes from regional broadcasting revenues.

Bautista just crushed one. Jays leading 3-0 in top of 6th. Well played game so far. Nobody hurt even though Izturis slid into the catcher and Rasmus smashed into the fence on a great catch.

Finally, a well played game:). Good pitching, good defense and timely hitting (but only 2 hits). Nobody got hurt and no crazy ballboy.

What's more likely to happen first?

Lind gets another hit.

Bonifacio Commits another fielding blunder.

Hmm, Encarnacion actually has a worse batting average than Lind right now. He's been dropping down there steadily.
