In the 15 th. century, mercenaries were used as guards for the pope. Switzerland was a poor country at that time with no ports or special resources, many of the best mercenaries came from Switzerland in the 15th. century and later. Now, the Swiss Guard is chose from the Royal Guards of European houses of royalty.

If you are talking about the entire live action Batman series, the Joker was played by Casar Romero, Jack Nicholson & Heath Ledger. Mark Hamill was the voice of the Joker in the majority of the animated serials and video games, and Michael Emerson (Lost, Person of Interest) was the voice of the clown in the most recent animated movie "The Dark Knight Returns".

On a similar note, the live action Catwoman was portrayed Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry & Anne Hathaway.

Riding his motorcycle. They did not want the audience to get the impression that he was a hood wearing a leather jacket so they always had him on his bike to make it appear that he wore the jacket for safety reasons.

While noton his bike he was seen wearing a windbreaker.

Hint: The second was Welcome Back Kotter in 1976.

What was the first TV theme tune/song to hit #1 in the charts?
S.W.A.T. theme hit number one about 10 weeks before Kotter. SWAT hit on February 26th and Kotter on May 8th, both in 1976.

Not SWAT.

Here's another clue: 1955
You must tell us which chart you are talking about. SWAT was the first television theme to hit #1 on Billboard which is the benchmark of music lists.

My Billboard book only lists songs from July 1955, but I just noticed that The Ballad Of Davy Crockett hit number one in March.

Good question fooled many of us.

However, Davy Crockett was not an actual television program. It was a miniseries shown during the Disneyland show.
So technically it was not a television theme song. It was a song from the show.
