Woohoo! The Leafs win!

I was so disappointed last night, did not even know there was a game tonight until someone told me about it at 6:00 PM.

Seems to me that this Leaf team, is not a last place team. They could fall to last place just like last year, but right now they are not a last place team.

That's why it is still a puzzle why Brian Burke was fired. When he took over, the Leafs were an average team at best, and old. Now the Leafs look like an average team, and they're young. The minor league system was re-built from scratch. So what happens? They fire his ass.

Bell. Rodgers. It figures.

How about changing it up a little bit. Kessel, Kadri, Frattin on a line. What harm can that do? Seems to me Kadri is much stronger defensively than Bozak, and more dangerous in the offensive zone. Try JVR at center. He's only 23, maybe he can grow into that role.

Leafs got some bounces tonight, and Washington is playing like a last place team that don't care. Looks like a big trade coming or they will fire their coach Adam Oats.

The Leafs defense has held up for the most part. Another low scoring game.

I took a look at the schedule once the lockout was over. Of the 48 games, 7 were on LeafsTV and the rest were on regular stations.

It is possible, I've seen at least two games on LEAF TV so far this season and I think the Thursday game is also on LEAF TV. Maybe Bell and/or Rogers own LEAF TV.

Find it weird that there isn't any complaints on this thread in regards to this issue ... The fact these two media giants spread their teams games all over the dial which forces a fan to buy TSN TSN 2 Sportsnet Sportnet 1 etc ., I remember Jays fans yelling when games were put on Sportsnet 1

Yeah, I actually order TSN non-HD because Rogers wanted to charge extra for HD.

IMO, being able to watch 41 out of 48 games on basic cable isn't so bad.

38 out of 48 games are on basic TV ... Alhough considering the fact we almost had zero games on the tube , anything is a bonus ..

Yes, that is true. Winnipeg is the loudest arena in the NHL, now that they are back...

Oh you're good.. Real good!

I thought with 5min left, even to tie the game and land a point would be great. Bozak was just excellent on the SH, Frattin contines to be a machine, and yes Kessel scores in style for the GWG. The work ethic by Toronto was perfect, they refused to go away. I didn't realize how loud Jets fans were, or vocal. Reminded me of Chicago fans for getting on a visitng team.

Perhaps Torontos best and most complete road victory yet.
I read the first line ... WOW !
(this is an escort site afterall )

Then I read the rest of the post .... Oh hockey.

Yes ! ! Kessel scores ! ! !

Reimer came up big when called upon. Did not let it get away.
Liked the effort in yet another road win.

Watching the game tonight, the firing of Brian Bruke seems even more bizarre.

The best defense-man tonight for the Leafs was Phenuef, against Corsby all game. Guess who got him.

The most dangerous Leaf forward, Kessel all three games, although he has not scored yet.

The goal scorers for the Leafs tonight, three of them all acquired by you know who.

Even Komersiek does not look out of place.

This is still Brian Burke's team.
Thank you for the kind words and the support.

So in Montreal tonight. PK is in the lineup and Montreal plays well at home.

Kessel scores again and the Leafs squeak out a win.
JVR has a good game.

Go Leafs !

Oh baby ! Did that feel good ! !

That was domination ! Finally some payback.
No liberties unchecked tonight.
Uncool of Grabovsky biting, but Pacioretty should not have put his arm over Grabovsky's mouth.

Next Leafs Montreal game should be a dandy.

Did Grabovski bite him, or did Grabovski not, This is the question.

If I'm in the middle of a skirmish on the ice and some guy grabs me from behind, pulls my head and helmet backwards, with his forearm laying across my open mouth, whose responsibility is it that skin comes into contact with teeth, allegedly?

Leafs looked solid in all aspects tonight. Hitting, skating, scoring, checking, goaltending and discipline.

Great game by the Leafs. The new Leafs, bigger, meaner are something to see, Carlyle has put together a good squad.

As for the bite. It's just like a chicken shit player to grab someone from behind, like Pacioretty did and yes, if his forearm comes into contact with teeth then too bad. Who does Pacioretty think he's protecting? Grabo is no threat, but then again, that's why a chicken shit like Patch's grabs a guy like that.

Orr's supposed knee on knee. The play clearly shows Orr trying to connect with an open ice hit and Plekanec just getting out of the way.
