It was 3 AM in the UK when you wrote this . . . . It looks like you are up most evenings till 3 or 4 AM involved in somewhat heated discussions. Given the extra time needed to brush your teeth, etc. before bed, it strikes me as not very healthy behavior for you and your 6 moth old fetus to be staying up till 4 or 5AM engaging in stress building arguments on a regular basis.

This must be a worry to Mr. L, even if he doesn't say anything.
Well to be blunt, who cares? Loki sleeps about 8 hrs a day, I sleep a lot less. :).
Hun, perhaps just me?

Let me be a little clearer . . . you are commenting on the negative mental health effects of your father on you and your mother and I am suggesting that staying up until 5 AM engaging in spirited discussions may not be in the best health interests of your own (yet unborn) child.:)

cash in some of your weight in gold and get a therapist or counsellor.

And your outlandish stories are what makes me think you have a penis. It's not a fantasy.
Actually it is all converted to other investments. Playing it safe instead of trying to get closer to the peak.

frankcastle, you seem so bitter that other people can have a more interesting and financially stable life.

Maybe we can help you put it in context?

There are apparently over 100,000 registered users. Allowing for duplicates etc we can take the 100,000 as close enough.

The definition of a millionaire is hard to pin down.

If you include assets, primary residence, and value of civil service pensions 1 in 50 is a millionaire.
http://www.moneysense.ca/2010/04/09/retirement-surprise-millionaires/
http://www.milliondollarjourney.com/how-to-get-rich.htm

If you include assets and primary residence 1 in 100 is a millionaire.

If you only include net worth in Canada .8 %

With our 100,000 members, we should expect 800 net worth millionaires on Terb :)

WOW 800 members are millionaires? WOW lol

"Roughly 1.0% of high net worth individuals (HNWIs) can also correctly be identified as ultra-high-net-worth individuals (ultra-HNWIs),"

So we have something like 8 members who are multi millionaires. If you use the .007 % of population for UHNWIs (more than $30 million) instead it would be 7. Pretty close :)

We might have less than 100,000 members, but on the other hand, more men are millionaires than women so it probably is still close.

So frankcastle, it seems very likely that a half dozen people on Terb and their wives, can afford my life style. I understand that for you $30 million + must seem outlandish, but for others here it is just part of their lives. And young attractive presentable women get to pick who we are with :)

Grow up and smell the coffee.

LOL that is not helping me forget the idea. I pretty well know she has never left him because she has no where to go. I am just worried about my marriage. There are so many stories about mothers in laws fighting with husbands etc. I suppose the next step is to talk about it with LL. She would be so much happier not having to put up with him.
I'm not familiar with British divorce law but wouldn't divorce be an option for your mother? After all you dad has a successful wine business with a 100 employees. I'm sure there would be funds made available after 30ish years of marriage.

Do I hate my Father? Pretty much. Am I holding a grudge? Pretty much no. How is that possible?

Well I hate the smell of horse manure. Do I hold a grudge against horse manure? No. Do I want to be around horse manure? No.

Simple :).

Father has not changed. He decided that something is true and manufactures evidence in his mind to justify it. He tries to dominate everyone around him and force anyone who does not fit into his mould to shut up. He makes my mom cry. I could go on, but you get the point.

I went through a long stage where I thought I had to accept him into my life. I thought I was holding a grudge. But eventually I realized I was not. I avoid him because he was a classic personality disorder, he is toxic. It is sad but there is nothing I can do about it.

I love my mom and feel terrible for her. As a 17 year old in Hong Kong she fell for his superficial charm and soon was trapped. Being an Asian woman can be a bitch :). I would love to offer her a way out. I think I will take Jessica's advice and talk to LL about it :)

I suspect many women are in very unhappy marriages, or are married to men that hurt them physically or emotionally. I guess for mom at least it is partially fear, partially "what would I do?" that keeps them there. Mom knows no other life. He has isolated her. She has few friends. He will not let her visit her family in Hong Kong. Will not even let her visit with me unless he is there. Typical controlling man behaviour.

For mom to be able to leave him, she needs a place to go where she will feel safe and useful. I know she would love to come and help take care of the baby and live with us. I just need to accept that if she does, it will have to be forever. And more important, LL has to accept it.

You should see how much is going on in PMs LOL

If it has no value to you, why would you read it? Why is shutting me up of any value to you?

You roll down your window and yell at people at accidents? You are not observing, you are participating

Hold on a minute. That's not an entirely honest comment. There certainly seems to be a lot of horse manure around here.

The real problem with Closer68 is he is BORING. Some trolls are funny and cleaver. His comebacks are just tedious and devoid of any intellect or rationale. And when he is outwitted, which happens all too often, he backs down like a coward. He is just a boring, retarded troll looking for attention.
And you are an MPA owner, who was outed months ago.

ulistar, HELP, I am so confused. Is closer saying that your being an MPA owner renders you incapable of being bored? of recognizing boring thing? Does owning an MPA make you hyper sensitive to boring people?

Or maybe you as an MPA owner are unable to recognize boring because you had to deal with something or another so often?

Is he implying you must be nice to him because he goes to MPAs although

I don't cum in most sessions
Or is he just lashing out like an immature child trying to hurt you so you will go away? He does that a lot I notice.

I just cannot see what you owning an MPA has any impact on the truth of your statements.

Do you even own an MPA?

:)

well if you insist :)

named yourself after a cute character that little girls love,
try to hush and talk about Dysfunctional Fathers,
Seem to dislike strong personalities in females,

:) so do you like little girls, and think they should all stay submissive, or are you a hen pecked hubby that resents it?

;) just wild speculation :) but it is funny
Actually no, not really funny at all to be honest.

Being speculated to being a gold digger because your "hubby" brought you your weight in gold is a lot different then suggesting some is a pedophile because his username is papasmurf.

Personally, I think that was over line. I would have gone with a blue balls or bill pill comment personally if I was trying to personally attack someone like papasmurf.

You are probably right, I have no proof at all, and it was just speculation. And if he had not egged me on I would not have posted it :(.

I get the feeling of being egged on.

I have had it all, getting egged, being the egger, watching the egg with or without enjoyment......

It happens to us all.

Happy Sunday Ms. Preggers. Enjoy your day.

Men telling me to hush up and count the wine bottles became a hot button for me before I hit puberty.

Funny how men think what they care about is worth talking about but what we consider important is not.

I guess the is at least a little dysfunctional father in most men.

And a suppressed bitch in all women?
