The key word is "alleged". Sharon Stone was shopping around the lie that she was a Mensa member, until Mensa stepped up and said she was never a member. Then she retracted the lie.

The only members in that list worth salt are under the "verified" status, not the 'alleged'.

However, given James Woods' academic background, I don't doubt he has a high IQ.

lol I find it funny that hawking is at the bottom of that list yet he seems to have more accomplishments in terms of academic work etc. I also find it odd that none of those people are on any lists of the top richest people in the world etc besides when it comes to IQ which makes you wonder why having a very high IQ is such a big deal it doesnt seem to help much in terms of success in life

We need people capable of developing, improving upon, and repairing the technologies we use. Being able to create and design things like planes, bombs, and mobile phones may not make everybody involved wealthy, but I think that the high IQ people responsible for these technologies are invaluable to our way of life.

I'm not a genius. I'm a simple man that chases money and pussy (ie. success as defined by the common man). For many scholars and geniuses, that's not the case.
