Brett Lawrie 6 errors and counting. One of the errors in the ninth cost the Jays a win.
3 homeruns and counting including a game winning walk-off. Your point? :p

Btw, a good one going on right now. Jays were down 6-2 at one point and now just down 1 going into bottom 9th facing their closer from last year in Frank Francisco.

Actually, waiving Lind is a win-win. probably no team will pick him up because of his ugly contract and track record of non achievement. If a team does... Well, hey! It's like saying good bye to Vernon Wells all over again.

I know the Jays have got hitters that has come through at times...but they are getting too comfortable and are moving away from the way they used to play. Small ball and aggressiveness in order to generate wins. Last year if they had runners on 1st & 2nd with no outs, down 1 bottom 9th - you know they were going to bunt and get the runners over so you can tie the game with a sac fly or win the game with a single. Instead, today they let everyone hit away and ended up with 3 strikeouts in a row to end the game...

Nothing, and they still pay part of his salary.
Wrong.

If another team claims Lind on nonrecallable waivers, the other team pays the entire shot.

And that is what the Jays are hoping for.

They are also praying that 1) Guerrero works out at DH, and 2) EE (who made an allstar catch today) works out at 1st

Jays had a lot worst scenarios in the past when Frank Thomas who was making 11 million per season was put on waivers. Lind was an unexpected mishap.

Blue Jays flops after a huge raise are as follows: Bill Caudill (rank #1), Alex Rios, Vernon Wells, Frank Thomas and Adam Lind.

I hope Cooper gets a real look. I think that he could do some damage. If nothing else as a trade showcase.

Here
I have the feeling that, at this stage, there's nothing much to trade for.

The BJ's already have the talent. What they need is the time for that talent to develop and mature to the point where they are much more consistent...

Unless it is one of those blockbuster trades that completely changes the character of the team, like the trades for Carter and Alomar many moons ago... and that does not seem to be A.A.'s way of doing things.

More importantly he pitched a shut out inning which was better than any other pitcher the Jays threw out there last night.

I recently learned that Morrow is diabetic, wonder if that affects his pitching performance (like last night) sometimes?

Not normally. It would only affect him if he was not controlling his sugars.
