"Hooker" was the chosen word used in a popular thread found in the forum's today. So I did a search and discovered this interesting and long thread. Anyway, I haven't had a chance to read through it yet, but in due time I will. I've become fascinated with similar topics covered in shows like "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" and articles like "The Secret Life of a Bay Street Hooker" glamourizing the world of escorting.

I may have more questions later, but my question for today is directed to SP's that have children.

What do you tell your kids what your occupation is, when they ask? I assume some have other jobs, but some may only have escorting as their only form of income.

Most of my friends and or family see me as a success. I have taken something that I am good at and ran with it. I am well on my way to my "career". If I hadnt gotten into this industry I would probably be living in a shitty apartment with a dead end job.

I think that this job has been one of the best things to happen to me on many levels.

I am not an escort. I don't play one on TV. But I can say I have only once met an SP who has kids (who said she did). And it was not the best experience. She wasn't very good and she started the session by running out to talk to the child's father on the phone. I really should have left right then and there. Oh well, live and learn.

1. I did very briefly/ I work where I now live but it's a big town. After I had stopped working in my home town, I stopped by my parents one day. They were having renovations done in their living room. The contractor recognized me right away - when he mentioned I looked familiar I said that since I worked in retail, he likely knew me from there.... he was a regular from the past.

So Ladies, Before entering the biz, briefly (or not) describe:
1) What was your first experience with bartering a sexual service, or display, for monetary, material or service gain?

1) I never bartered for a sexual service prior to entering this world. I lost my virginity at 21 and was with my ex for 7 years.

I met my first client in Terb chat the first day I considered `working`. I had a boyfriend who was unhappy with his job and wanted to go back to school. I had just started my post secondary. I had idealistic notions of what I could do for `us` through `this`. No one opened the door into this world for me... I found it on my own.

My client was the second naked man I`d ever seen. I worked in retail previously but had quit my position expecting to find work without difficulty but after turning down multiple job offers I was jobless and broke. I was out of work for over a month and was honestly struggling financially.
