Now I know the cops and jock riders on this forum will run in to defend the criminals BUT;
If you take Peel, Toronto, York and Durham that's 10K of cops. A very small city. Just in the last week:

Last I checked, 3 or 4 out of 10K makes 0.04% - not quite a bushel. Probably a lower rate than the general public.

Last I checked, close to 50% make more than 6 figures a year. And for them to go out and commit crime like petty thugs, same law should apply. But what do they get? A paid vacation and a slap on the wrist. No wonder they think they are gods, because not only do they enforce the law, but it also protects them too. What a great job...

You might want to check again and provide a reference. It's not even close to that in the highest paid force in Ontario.

don't know how much but know the cops who make good money legitimately, not counting what they take from drug dealers and whoever they perceive as low complaint risk

Well apparently not, as we have to pay some over time to do what needs to be done, but what being done is working, as the crime rate is going down.

No, not a cop, although some on here have thought so for a couple of years. I just know how and where to look up facts that are public record and read them to counter the lies posted in various threads about the police. Most of what I post is public knowledge. Some is from actually working alongside them from time to time.

blackrock13, why don't you tell us how many civil servants are on the sunshine list compared to last year. Especially cops, and those who put tones of overtime. I know quite a few cops myself, and they all laugh jokingly that they are glad that they did not spend the money to go to college but make more than those who busted their buts in university. They even admitted that most guys in the force do make more than 6 figures.

Already did give the latest figure for Toronto civil servants in an earlier thread/post. Don't be such a lazy putz. It public record, look it up. As I understand it, this years figure are released yet, so you'll have to wait you little pea pickin' heart out a bit longer.

I believe the Ontario civil servant number on the sunshine list was 63,000+, an increase of ~10,000 from the previous year of which as you all remember only ~1400 were Metro officers. It seems there are more supposed crooks at the provincial level than at the various police divisions by a large factor.

Are they all crooks as well?

I'd be more pissed at the your provincial government. It might go further.
