The mighty Senators will suck for as long as their current GM is not fired.hahaha the Senators sucked hard this season
Since you brought it up, how did he keep his job ? I thought for sure he was next after the coach was let go.The mighty Senators will suck for as long as their current GM is not fired.
couldn't agree with you more. That whole organization is a joke from their jackss captain all the way to their upper management. That douchebag on here before was defending them so much until the season started LOL.The mighty Senators will suck for as long as their current GM is not fired.
The regular season is over and the we are well into the playoffs and the trolls come out to play I see.couldn't agree with you more. Alfie is a little long in the tooth right now and definitely not worth what he's making but he's been a helluva player for the Sens over his career both on and off the ice.Oracle you maybe right and the fit would be perfect with a guy like Kessel ( Spezza has played with guys like Heatly ) although would these two teams actually make a trade like this ... Unlike the dumb Raptors who traded Carter to a team within their division and it came back to bite them in the ass , if the Senators would ever trade this guy I don't think they would not want him in their own conference . Would they ??
Trade proposal which I read some where
With Ottawa in a rebuild and Toronto most likely fighting for a playoff position I think this trade could work for both teams:
To Toronto:
Jason Spezza (keep in mind his salary of 7M for the next 4 seasons, a burden on any team)
Project player or solid 3rd liner (Wiercioch/Neil)
To Ottawa:
Joe Colborne (talent project centre, standing @ 6'5. Could become a great #1 with most believing he will becoming a solid #2)
1st Round Pick 2012 (Top 10 protected, but in a VERY deep draft)
2nd Round Pick 2011
Tyler Bozak
So I am reading thee above and have come to the conclusion that Guyroch, despite what he claims, is no Leaf fan.Oracle you maybe right and the fit would be perfect with a guy like Kessel ( Spezza has played with guys like Heatly ) although would these two teams actually make a trade like this ... Not that guy needs me to speak for him and I may be wrong, but all he said was that "he read about this proposal". He never offered an opinion one way or the other. Now he thinks it is a great idea to trade away Colborne and a first round pick for ... Speeza .... for a $7mil per season Speeza.
LOL.....Fark you are delusional. As for Capt Clown, maybe 10 years ago Burke would have listened, but not now, not after the Cup final puck fiasco.
You really don't know much about hockey do you ?The Senaturds will probably need Spezzas salary to make the cap min
Are their more teams then normal with lots of cap space this year? Seems like it but I could be wrong. You really don't know much about hockey do you ?
The Senators already have $43,258,334 committed to 15 players for next year.
Try to be a little better informed for your next commentary.

Just remember at this time of year there are a few teams with less then a full team signed. Check out individual team lists. Are their more teams then normal with lots of cap space this year? Seems like it but I could be wrong.
Mid June the final number will be decided: http://www.yardbarker.com/blog/spec...te_nhl_salary_to_increase_for_2011_12/3750652I wonder if the new TV deal that the NHL signed the Cap maybe going up more then usual ... I am pretty sure the Cap Max isn't set for next year yet ...
I'm curious, how did the Senators (not Senaturd) mistreat Dany Heatley ?....look at the way they treat their star players like Heatley, no wonder he wanted out!
