How did you find lovely (and reputable) SPs?
I know about Eros, TRZ and advertisers on the "other" site. CL and Now ads are crapshoots. So are there any other reputable sources?
Thanks.

I have no idea about their quantity or quality of information these days, but if you want ancient history, I used to consult the newsgroup alt.sex.prostitution.

I used the Now paper before I ever got online for the first time. I was encouraged to get a computer by my then neighbor, now my wife, so I did and have not hobbied since.

Oh yes, back in the mid-1990s when I first started hobbying...it was the NOW magazine...and I would cross my fingers that their printed description matched who they were...and double crossed my fingers that it wasn't a scam. Now with the Internet...made things SOOOOOO much easier.

CanBest was a very good reliable site around before TERB.

I lived in Halifax and took my lumps .......a few ads in the phone book and a few in the newspaper.Put myself in some very dangerous situations and lived to tell about it.God the things you'll do when your young and horny.Quite honestly could write a short novel.

Used to read various tabloid news papers, and adult web links, but Terb is pretty reliable and my favourite adult forum since the time it was launched and it is really serving the adult communities in Canada to hobby with confidence.

Yes, CanBest was good. I also used Lyla's List.
CanBest was reliable. So was NOW, in the pre-internet days. I missed out on Lyla's list.

The very first time, I was in Toronto without my laptop, and I used the Yellowpages. I had suprisingly good luck, but then quickly learned about Terb, and did my research before any trips.

Trolled the NOW ads which was very hit and miss. Also listened to the Redzone when it was just phone ads. Learned very quickly that the allure of a woman's voice was not directly related to her physical attractiveness.

Before TERB it was Lyla's List (Christine no longer owns it, but she's still around), before that it was really a "word of mouth" thing. As far as locating SPs and MPs there was NOW magazine and the ads in the Toronto Sun. No guarantee or even preview with them of course. Also the yellow pages for agencies - some good, many not so much.

Basically before Lyla's List there was nothing that really provided any useful feedback on quality/performance. TERB managed to become the pre-eminent source, with many other "boards" which would pop up and die later.

Strip clubs and take out.

I will never forget travelling up Yonge Street on the tube with a dancer from Zanzibar, going back to her place. At some point, some older lady leaned over and said to us "you two young people make such a lovely couple, I hope you keep each other happy for a long time".

I also remember the first time I got a HJ in a club, which was "just not done" back in the 80's. It was damn exciting to be doing something like that, considering most clubs would bounce you for simply touching the girl.
