I think that's something that should properly be determined by a dental forensic expert. That type of conclusion needs some expertise to deliver.
Her dentist is on record as saying he believes she was not punched in the mouth, making the story suspicious. He said she may have been punched in the head and that caused her to bite down on her teeth, however the story posted said she was punched directly in the mouth.
cracking somebody's teeth without busting lip would certainly require some dental expertise

I am not trying to defend Mel at all here but is there proof he hit her? Has it been proven that it's even him on the tape? I don't usually follow hollywood crap. Has Mel admitted or denied anything? I heard yesterday that the woman was trying to blackmail Mel - any truth in that?
Volience is not the answer for anything .. and if she did hit him then he should be the bigger man and walk away. 2 wrongs do not make a right.

When I was a kid I remember my dad taught me to never hit a woman. We're bigger and stronger and capable of defending ourselves without striking back. I've had women who have thrown things at me and taken a swing at me, in my youth, when I was still quick and could duck. It never ocurred to me to hit back.
If Mel weren't so shitfaced all the time none of this would have happened. If fact a sober Mel would not have given this woman a second look. In the mid-80's Mel was a drunken prick who made an ass of himself filming Mrs Soffel in Toronto. Faced with the prospect of rehab or blackballing he sobered up. For over a decade his career took off but somewhere between the critical acclaim of Braveheart and the filthy lucre of his religious snuff movie he fucked up. He cannot turn his life around unless he sobers up again.
As for Mel going OJ, I'd be very surprised by that. Sure he's a loud asshole with no filter but I don't believe he's psychotic. Tom Cruise is closer to being OJ than him.

She planned this from day one and things didn't pan out the way she wanted so she had the tapes released.
I'm not excusing his behavior but she clearly had the timing right in all this.
If she wasn't going to get a dime, she was going to bring him down...and she has done exactly that.
