98% of the time, I eat at home. Not that frozen food crap either. Real food, fresh veggies and fruit. When I do eat out, its not at the fast food chains mentioned above. I'd never eat that shit. When I was younger, I wasn't so careful though.
What I don't understand is why people seem to treat good cooking as not worth it, or somehow beneath them. In less than 30 minutes I could whip up a dinner you could get in any reasonably good restaurant. If I'm trying even a little bit, I could do alot better than that. With a little practice anyone could. When did we become so lazy that we can't even feed ourselves well?

school, gym, plus commuting time with traffic jams in addition to the 8+ for the man ... and i don't even have kids

sorry jack, i'm not cooking shit in whatever hours are left at home to sleep ... when i get home at midnight

if nuking a measly tv dinner is my only convenience, then so be it, and if that's not good enough for your ivory tower, then you're more than welcome to go fuck yourself

We are all busy. The point is that if eating properly is important to you, then you spend the time. If it's not important, then you don't. It just depends on one's priorities.

Most people aren't in school and working full time and going to the gym regularily. I understand your situation. I've been there. But I don't think that your situation applies to most people. Am I wrong?

my problem is that 30 minutes of my time are worth more than a dinner in a reasonably good restaurant, let alone the difference between this dinner and cost of food, so it only makes sense for me to eat out

Being unhealthy is an expensive lifestyle. You want to tighten the purse strings during this recession? Eat at home you unhealthy piece of shit.
Nobody eats KFC three times a day, but I get and agree with what you mean overall. The irony is that fast food is marketed at the poor and uneducated. No wonder the dumb f**ks are such losers.

I don't drink coffee, don't drink alcohol (only socially), and I don't smoke either. More wastes of money and unhealthy habits that are absolutely retarded.

There are people who strictly deprive themselves of each and every eatable, drinkable and smokable which has in any way acquired a shady reputation. They pay this price for health. And health is all they get for it. How strange it is. It is like paying out your whole fortune for a cow that has gone dry.

How about the fact that eating right will enhance all those things and give you more energy.... You're only cheating yourself financially and physically by eating that crap all the time... I

Great fast, healthy breakfast and cheap breakfast.

1-2cups of oatmeal with water (nuked for 40 seconds), 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 1 sliced banana, ½ of blueberries. (sometimes I'll toss in a small handful of honey nut cheerios - I know, not so healthy ;))
Great pre-workout food.
