Here
That was a scheissesturm for Argentina.

SCHWEINSTEIGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree 100% with you. He totally dominated and controlled the game.

I remember watching the great potential he showed in 2006 and wondering if he would really develop as a great player... well there is hardly any doubt about that anymore. He has played very well in all of Germany's matches but today was the cherry on the icing on the cake! :)

The way Germany played against Argentina, I doubt Spain can win against them. The only ones that might be able to fight the germans would be the dutch, thats going to be a more balanced game.

It really depends what team Spain brings. They need to bench Torres and leave Cesc on. They can beat Germany if they're on their top form. But the Germans are already there.
Indeed, Germany is in top form and they're no one to take for granted. A strong, disciplined team with a clear goal to reach.

As Becks just said, Torres' knee is bothering him but he doesn't want to tell Del Bosque because he wants to play so badly. You know what thay say about the road to hell.

IMHO, I wish Del Bosque started with Navas and Cesc in central midfield with Iniesta and Xavi on the wings. Navas on the right with Xavi can make music happen. Pedro should start up front with Villa. He's a sparkplug and though he lacks Torres' experience, he scored in evey single one of Barca's 6 trophy tournaments last season. He shows he can play on the big stage and made things happen when he came in on saturday.

We defeated Germany on 2008 to win the Euro so it gives us a very slight psychological advantage. This German team is younger, quick and not having Ballack seems to have freed them up to play more openly. They are playing extremely well.

This is what we look forward to, isn't it. Clash of Titans in the final stages!

Holland will not win the World Cup or even make the final. They have been the biggest chokers in the World Cup, which is sad really considering the teams/players they have had.

England is in big trouble after that dismal win over Japan. Is it me or I am really excited about this World Cup, no real clear cut favourite.
Hey jetfuel; looks like my first pick is going to make it to the finals after all...this was ur reply to my post # 56 when i picked either Holland or France to win

One word: Maradona.

He may be a great player but he's really clueless as a coach.
That is a gospel truth if ever there was one.

Bet the AFA feels like assholes now for turning down Batistuta.

Well touche my friend, Holland got the upset win over a weak Brazil team. However, Uruguay have been riding there luck. But you also chose France, so I would not gloat too much.

To be honest though,I would not mind if Holland won - well deserved.

As much as I don't think Uruguay has any realistic chance of beating the Dutch because of injuries and suspensions, I'm fully aware that history is actually on their side. No European team has ever won a World Cup held outside of Europe so far!! As the sole non-European representiative in the final four, you can't discard their chance completely. You want to talk about a team of destiny, just look at the game Uruguay against Ghana. I for one will be very interested to see if this World Cup is history in the making, or simply history repeating itself.
