I was circumcized as an adult. The surgery itself was easy as hell, but the recovery was BRUTALLLLLLLLLLL. When i first took the bandages off, my head was so sensitive that I couldn't even stand for it to be touched for a whole 2 weeks. Took me 4 weeks to become sexually active again.
No do not do it! It is a form of child abuse. Leave it alone.

This is something that will absolutely NEVER happen to my sons! Over my dead body! The full version of this video implies that the father was never informed as to what was going to happen. I would bet that many parents if having seen this video would not allow for this procedure to be done. Just from training as a registered nurse, this baby is in pain! He does not want to be fed or have his diaper changed. Actually, studeies show that infants do remember the pain of circumcision by having a less pain threshold when it comes time for vaccines.
there are benefits to both. Circumcised is cleaner and easier to take care of. Non circumcised adds length. Personally being a woman I prefer circumcised because not all men keep it clean.
Circumcision is NOT cleaner. a dried up keratinzed glans is NOT cleaner
a woman's genitals is needs more cleaning and is more prone to infection UTIs affect girls more than boys so why is the male foreskin the only target?

I am not saying that woman's genitals need any less cleaning but they are NOT the topic of discussion. Uncircumcised penis's get a cottage cheese type substance if the foreskin isnt cleaned properly and can leave a very unwanted odor...MAZEL TOV

It is so funny that any time when the question of circumcision comes up, the anti-circers react with what could be describes as nothing but hysteria. It would seem that virtually all of these guys are uncut, and they are trying to justify their uncut status.
The fact is that overwhelmingly most cut guys are completely happy with their cocks no longer having a foreskin. Of course, there are some guys who miss their foreskins, but at the some time there are many uncut guys who wish they were indeed circumcised. Another fact is that infant circumcision is very simple operation, whereas adult circumcision is more complex, and more costly.

Unless there are serious medical reasons for deciding otherwise, and whether it concerns circumcision or sex (re-)assignment surgery, I think that the responsibility of a parent is to ensure the right of their child to an intact body, until that person is old and mature enough to excercise sovereign decision-making power over their own body.

Like many guys here, I am cut because that was the "norm" at that time. When my son was born we decided not to get it done. After a year or so it was very apparent that there was a problem. To make a long story short, after much research and medical consultation, my son had it done. He's 8 now and only vaguely remembers anything about it. He does not remember any pain. Sometimes, it may be required but if I was to have another son, I wouldn't do it automatically.
Im sure this has been said before, maybe even in this thread but so called "female circumcision"=/= male circumcision. The form of genital mutilation known as female circumcision involves amputation of the clitoris. the analgous procedure in a man would be amputation of the glans. if one wishes to create analogies, male circumcision is analgous to removal of the clitoral "hood"
