Goddam Karlsson.....Grrrr.....

Oh well I have to admit that the best team won.

Gotta cheer for the habs now. Another uphill climb.
Wow, you must really want to golf.

Agreed.
Pens deserve it.
Dammit.
Think I'll start backing the 'Nucks.
Oh-oh, we may end up on the same side.

I swear you are a gong show.

This post of your is full of so many double negatives and nonsense I can't even bother.

Seek help. You have a bi-polar disorder.
LOL, you got nothing. Fuckin' gutless.

One post in 3 years and this is the best you can do?

Let me educate you a little then.

Leclaire did not cost them that game Neither did they ''blow'' it.

The Pens are stronger in every area than Ottawa and in the end it showed.
This is the best you can do? Wow, throw out the post insult as the first line. I didn't realize that this was theoracle.ca, The Oracle's own private site with your own rules. Idiot.

Let me educate you - you should not blow 3-0 leads at home or a 3-1 lead after two periods. Ottawa choked on this one, plain and simple.

Now go and get laid and you'll feel much better.

So I guess by your logic every team that gives up a 2 or 3 goal lead chokes?

I got news for you son that's why they play 60 min.

Because by the end of the game the best team usually wins.

Unless of course your the leafs of yesteryear and have CuJo in nets and steal a series or two.

Are you Ironhead's twin perhaps?

What does Ironhead have to do with this? Absolutely nothing so stop going off on unnecessary tangents. Focus on the conversation at hand, if your feeble mind can handle it.

Of course the Sens choked. Game 6 was an elimination game for them and they could have forced a game 7 with a win at home. The Sens could not do that. Teams do not get many opportunities to get themselves back into a series and this was a prime example. A Senators win in game 6 and who knows what that would have done the Penguins' confidence? We'll never know.

And so what if the Pens have the better team? That's why they play the full playoff series and don't hand the Stanley Cup to the best team on paper. The Stanley Cup is handed to the team that perserved the best through four, tough gruelling post-season rounds. There are many talented teams that fail to win Stanley Cups (the San Jose Sharks are a recent example) and many unexpected winners like the Lightning and the Hurricanes.

Junior, give it a break and get yourself a hooker. You'll feel better about it.

I do not blame LeClaire either. He cannot do it all by himself.
Ottawa did blow the lead as far as I am concerned. Giving up a 3-0 lead at home, you do not win very many playoff series that way.

Karlsson made some mistakes again. Hope he learns from it or all the playing time was for nothing.
The LeClaire who played the last two games is the LeClaire they traded for, not the guy who seemed disinterested at times during the season.
I did not hear Icepack Volchakov's name too much tonight. Was that just my imagination ?
Sutton did not play play physical enough again tonight. That hit in game three(?) got to him. Just my opinion. Maybe he was worried about taking a penalty.

I thought Crosby took the night off. He was not much of a factor, but all he has to do is show up and the defence focus's on him.
Malkin looked to be coming on a bit.
Fleury was on his game again. Shut the door at three and allowed his team to come back.
The Penguin lesser lights took stage tonight.

The Pens are not only talented but their the defending Stanley Cup champions which makes your comparison to the Shark a weak one.

Since the Pens are performance proven as well as better on paper than the Sens I would say that the series result was about right.

Only underachievers choke and since the Sens were clearly talent deficient when lined up against the Pens then they can't be labeled chokers.

Of course you could be just trolling couldn't you?

Oh here we go. Let's not address the Sens performance and how in general, why some teams can win the big game and others can't. Let's throw the "you must be a troll" comment. Look, do you want to have a debate about this or not? If not, that's fine. We'll end it here.

No I am not a troll but I can understand why newer posters or those who want to contribute leave this board. It's idiots like you who throw around their post counts as if it's the most important thing around here. It's idiots like you who yell "shill" or "troll" because they can't admit that someone else has another point of view. It has to be my way or the way eh?

Well, I am not going anywhere you stinking cloaca.

So what is it going to be? Having a interesting debate or degenerating into name calling? It's your choice.

Wow..That's a whole post about basically nothing.

Edit; Looks like the game is on Monday night. My mistake

Here's a segue for you, i'm to be cheering for the habs tonight and if perchance they go up by 3 goals tonight and lose.

Then I would under my criteria not consider that a choke job because the Caps are vastly superior to the last place qualifying habs.

Baring a CuJo like performance by Halak it's quite likely that the best overall team that being the Caps will win the series tonight.

Thank you for your input and welcome to the board.

The good doc watched the mighty Senators played the Penguins last night. The former was better in the first and second periods whereas the latter neutralized the Senators in the third period and overtime. In the end, the Penguins scored one more goal than the Senators. The result is the mighty Senators are mighty no longer. See them next season.

I can only imagine could the Sens have been better if Michalek hadn't got hurt?
I can only imagine could the Sens have been better if Kovalev bothered to show up?
I can only imagine could the Sens have been better if Cheechoo had of returned to former glory?
All 3 major pieces added last October.

I know.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

Oh well at least we did better than the Leafs this year. LOL:cool:
I can focus on that to make me feel better.

Sens fans crow and crow about what a bad team the Leafs are, what a mixed up organization the Leafs are and yet always use them as a measuring stick.
"We did better then the Leafs" which, according to them, means the Sens are better then the worst team.

Whatever ... it is all over for both Ontario teams for another season.

Even Toronto is 10 points ahead of Ottawa's 42 with 55 games played. GM Murray must be doing such a great job that he still has the owner's vote of confidence. LMAO!!!

Don't laugh too hard. It will be easier for Ottawa to rebuild. They have their high picks and they traded for high picks.

Toronto is still no better position than Ottawa despite what the standings say. If you can't see that Scenicdrive, you're devotion to the Leafs is pathetic.

Devotion to the Leafs??? Not if the good doc has the Leaf Nations' entire profit. LMAO!!! The good doc is an independent observer of the NHL. Not even the Buffalo Sabres has the good doc's devotion until they are Stanley Cup champions. You obviously do not understand, do you???
