I'm looking forward to VW's season with the Jays. If he does well, great. If he doesn't, I can imagine you throwing that new Nikon at him! Baseball: it's all good.I would not bat VW 4th. What do I know, I'm not the manager.
I hope VW does well too. He does seem like a nice guy but even nice guys have to earn their pay. Aaron Hill is a nice guy who earns every cent he makes.I'm looking forward to VW's season with the Jays. If he does well, great.
We'll see how many holes there are in Ruiz' swing as the season progresses. He has only a couple of months in the Show and that's not enough time for the pitchers to figure him out.Oagre, Encarnacion is a defensive liability.
Bautista would be a significant upgrade at third.
Lind is just an average left fielder at best but I could live with him out there.
Ruiz has hit at every level and should be given a chance at DH.
Snider reminds me of Adam Lind. It took Adam a couple of years to find his stroke so Snider could be just about due. If VW and Lyle Overbay can hit up to their potential, I think the Jays will pleasantly surprise. The other ? is Snider and whether he can cut it in the Bigs.

Maybe you will by June. The guy has hit at every level so I don't understand why he is a rookie at the ripe old age of 31.
Well, the no-no and the lead evaporated pretty quickly. Marcum looked like the genuine article there for 6. (Roy Who?)Marcum has a perfect game through six innings.
Could be quite a story brewing here.
A couple of bright lights, VW and Marcum.Fraser ineffective against a good late inning offence. End of story.
One of the rules of baseball, if a pitcher has a perfect game going, don't EVER mention that fact until the game is over.Marcum has a perfect game through six innings.

That's when your playing on his team at the time. One of the rules of baseball, if a pitcher has a perfect game going, don't EVER mention that fact until the game is over.
It wasn't a perfect game, it was a no-hitter.One of the rules of baseball, if a pitcher has a perfect game going, don't EVER mention that fact until the game is over.
Yes it was a no hitter because although there were no hits and no walks through six innings, Marcum hit a batter in the second and Encarnacion screwed up a fielding chance in the fourth inning; so, 2 Rangers had reached base by the end of the 6th inning. It wasn't a perfect game, it was a no-hitter.
Darn if I remember but I think a perfact game is as rare as an unassisted triple play or a steal of home against a righthander. Something like that. Really rare, huge.It wasn't a perfect game, it was a no-hitter.
