The Senaturds have never beaten the mighty TML when its counted, never. As for the Senaturds captain, Denial Afraidson, some day someone will feed Krusty the Klown his lunch for all the cheapshots she has dished out.

Feeling a little insecure tonight, are we ?

If you're talking cheapshots,........ well, Sideshow is the guy you want in the conversation.

They got to use name calling. lol
Flathead, Meathead, Baffoon ... lol

I know it is difficult admitting the truth, but this version of the Ottawa Senators are an ('92)expansion team. This organisation has never won the Cup.
I would not say that Ottawa "coned" the NHL. They(Bruce Firestone) were awarded a team fairly.
As for me not liking Ottawa, deal with it.

The Leafs choked ? I thought one had to be the favorite to choke, are you saying the Leafs were the favorite to win the Cup in those seasons mentioned.

Sort of correct. Senators have not won a Cup in 17 years which is their entire history.

My sole point is the Leafs have won the Cup.

No, not this ownership.
No, not this GM(with the Leafs)
No, none of the players were even born the last time the Leafs won.

No you cannot change the fact that the Toronto Maple Leafs have won the Cup.

First it was some of the Sabres getting food poisoning before playing Ottawa & now it's Minnesota's equipment burning up in a truck fire outside Scotiabank Place today. Draw your own conclusions! ;)
The Senators better watch what they eat when they come to Buffalo on 12/26. Of course, they can always claim that the Buffalo Chicken Wings do them in instead of the Sabres. LOL!!!

I'm actually going to that game. Should be good. I hope since it is in Buffalo.
Very well, enjoy the game and the chicken wings then. Hope both teams play well but the Sabres win. LOL!!!

OK, how about within the last 50 years. At least some of us were around.
You're scrapping the bottom of the barrel there, skippy.

How about in the last 40 years ?

WOW!

Did Pascal LeClaire ever suck donkey balls last night!
He looked like Toskala in there against the Pens losing 8-2.
I haven't seen a goalie collapse like LeClaire did in the 2nd period last night in a long time.

Sens are going no where with LeClaire.
Why even bother with him?
Like the Leafs with Gustafsson the Sens should go with the kid Elliott in net. He's the future.

It was his first game back after being out a month. The future Sens goalie is playing in the Soo right now.

Although I don't quite like this bashing of the Sens (I am not a Sens fan, BTW), I do agree Sens fans need this decline of their team. Having lived in Ottawa for a few years, I found Sens fans to be worse than Laffs fans. And Laffs fans are horrible, so saying Sens fans are worse is certainly saying something.

Then again, I tend to shout 'Go Habs Go' repeatedly. So I acknowledge my bias.

So Alfie Was Injured During the 8-2 loss against the Pens....

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=303563

If Alfie 'the heart and soul' of the Senators is to lose any significant amount of time due to this injury, the Senators may not be that 'mighty' anymore.

Actually they will win the Stanley Cup if their only opponent is the heartless and energy-less impotent Sabres. For some reason, the Sabres have no idea of how to win games when they play the `mighty` Senators, even when their best forwards (Spezza and Afie) are missing.

The Senators Are Mighty Again!!!

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/story/?id=307356&hubname=nhl-senators

They have won six in a roll since the return of Afie and Spezza. Currently sitting as the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference and 7 points behind the all of a sudden mediocre Sabres (3rd seed). There should be incentive to catch up and overtake the 'clueless' Sabres whenever the Senators played them during regular season. Perhaps the incompetent Sabres should hire some professional girlfriends to make the Senators' knees week before they play them. LOL!!! ;)

The mighty Senators have been very impressive lately, winning 9 games in a roll. The game with the Division leading Sabres on 2/3 will be an interesting one to watch. *clap hands*

Big Game Tonight Vs The Sabres

Both teams should be very motivated. A win tonight will mean the Sabres clinch a playoff spot with 92 points, temporarily become the second seed in the Eastern Conference, and feel good about being able to beat the mighty Senators. Meanwhile the Ottawa Senators have every intention to catch the Sabres and challenge their Northeast Division lead. A loss by the Senators will mean they will be further behind by 9 points. With 8 games or so left, it will be very difficult to overtake the Sabres for the Division crown. So will the mighty Senators continue their dominance over the 'not sure which way to go' Sabres? Which Buffalo team is going to show up tonight? Hmmm.....interesting indeed!!!
