To slap back or not slap back, i.e, the ?

B

burt-oh-my!

Gender shouldn't be a deciding factor. Its about size.
No. it AIN'T about size!

Geez, this isn't a boxing match with weight categories. Small people can't slap other bigger people with impunity just because 'it wouldn't be fair match'! It;s about retaliating for the unreasonable initiation of force.

If someone (other than a child - and maybe even then they need a bit of a paddling to inform them that the whole world ain;t going to just sit back and treat them like little princes and princesses their whole lives) initiates force, I don't care if they are deaf dumb blind and half-paralysed, they deserve to get back what they gave.

I was just saying how the cops look at it, or at least the cops around here.

My boyfriend got attacked by a chick a while back, so I called the cops on the bitch. All my bf did was push her away from him to get her to stop hitting him. One woman at the scene was freaking on him for 'hitting' a girl. Cops get there, take one look ay him, one look at her. They turn and ask me if I'm the one who called the cops(since I've still got my cell out) I said yes. They nod, smile, and arrest the chick for assault. Me and my bf go on our merry way.
The reason for this? Her size. She was about my height, so at least two inches taller than him. She was heavier than either of us were. And he was calm and collected when the cops got there, able to explain what happened. She was still freaking out, yelling that he hit her and that I was a slut who dated a woman-beater.
Afterwards The cop explained that yeah, it was about size when they first arrived on the scene. She was taller and bigger, and he was standing beside me, which made him look even smaller.
Fact is, for an honest cop in my area it isn't about hitting a woman at all.

After viewing the video I'm calling that whole thing staged.

Beating women is India's official national sport.

No way the men would have been upset with that dude in real Indian culture.

My 'wife' and I are in a common law situation. We have been seeing each-other for about nine years, we began living together about five years ago.
When she was still with her husband there was an incident. When this happened we were in the early stages of our relationship.
He had hit her, giving her a black eye, while they were arguing in the bedroom with the door closed. Immediately after hitting her he left the room, she followed hitting him back. Once outside the bedroom the daughter saw what was happening.
Police were called and my gf got arrested. Why ? Because the daughter only saw what happened outside of the room and that he had retreated, therefore the assault was over. My gf is smaller then her husband in every physical way, but because the witness saw her as the aggressor she got arrested.

My point is size, gender, age does not or should not matter.

If you are in a dispute and all you were doing is defending yourself, stick to the truth when police get involved and you should be OK.
