And I'm saying you're not the authority on whats offensive or not. We cant have double standards in life where you decide whats offensive, or whats less offensive
Part of the concept of the punishment is to dissuade others from harassing female reporters - on that count, I think it was a correct reaction. As to an employer's reaction getting notoriety from an employee yelling 'fuck her pussy' to a reporter on a live broadcast - I would like to publicly distance my company from these kind of morons.

BTW: Is there certain amount of empathy on your part because you could see yourself screaming the same profanities if you were there ?

Right. Keeping this guy is not worth the bad publicity. Like it or not he was a small expendable pawn.

Nah, I'm just fed up with political correctness. It makes me wanna puke. Especially when Trudeau gets to keep his job for saying something rude as well. And Trudeau holds a much more important job than these clowns.

Whats even worse is people like Frankcastle defending JT. Probably cause he's a Liberal himself, so he's willing to make excuses for what he said

Why can't we be free to show our disdain for dumb blonde interviewers representing corporate media?
If it was Ben Mulroney with a mike nobody would have been fired for telling him to fuck off.

As much as he deserved it, there is no way the Hydro One union going to let this guy lose his job over this, unless of course he is in a non-unionized management job, but by the looks of him that is highly unlikely.
Whether unionized or not, he is looking at a big payoff if he gets the right lawyer.

Not surprisingly none of you guys have responded to this at all.

A really good lawyer could not only get these guys off, but he could also counter-sue her for entrapment.

Watch the damn video, they never even said FHRITP
Counter sue her for entrapment?

Man oh man, you aren't very bright.

AK-47, sadly I don't think you're gonna make it in a leadership or management role in this world .. seems like you're destined to remain at the bottom of the economic ladder where the majority of society can safely ignor you ! Even so called conservatives know they're not going to garner support by being rude, crass and disrespectful. Clearly self awareness is not your strong suit LOL !

In looking at the video, the guys in question looked slightly toasted, they've just attended a soccer game, no doubt they're a little pumped up, they're younger and stupider and then someone says something really dumb and the female reporter won't let it go (fine, that's her right) and she starts to confront those all around her and the whole damn thing just escalates and gets blown right out of proportion. Then you have the mental midget Justin Trudeau getting his mouth in gear talking about "bullying" (give me a break, as a kid I remember having to hit guys with garbage can lids growing up in Hamilton because they were chasing me intent on beating the shit out of me, that was bullying) and the whole thing gets blown out of proportion.
People can be bullied with just words and can be intimidated by groups saying things to them.

However the fellow in question doesn't appear to have said the phrase in question- he expressed his opinion (in a drunken stupour) that it was funny and then went a bit in appropriate saying she is lucky they didn't put a vibrator in her ear when they said it.

On the whole, as I said previously, I don't think he should be fired. The Internet mob is ruling our lives making people spies ( searching to find his identity on facebook) like the stasi. It's a real shame.

Yes he spoke inappropriately, but he doesn't deserve anything more than maybe a smack in the chops.

He should sue her for getting him wrongfully dismissed over something he DIDNT say. He never said FHRITP.

Did you even watch the video??

Fucking exactly. The lynch mob mentality against a dumb kid who didn't even say what he was accused of is making me sick.

I did. Which is why I said he shouldn't be fired. However, she had nothing to do with him being fired. All she did was ask him a question. There are no grounds for him to sue her

Disagree.

If he can show she slandered him by insinuating something which he didnt say, and he lost his employment over that, he has a very good case for sueing.

And remember that video was never broadcasted live, Shauna posted it on youtube afterwards, which shows intent on her part to publicly shame him (for something he didnt even say)

If you google 'Shauna Hunt twitter' she clearly insinuates sexual harrassment. She even posted pics of the criminal code and the constitution
