TERB XXXmas Party

Had a blast!
The bands had a great time and want to thank everyone who attended for the warm reception. They all participated for the cause and were honored to be a part of it.
I'm gonna sleep for a week. After moving our studio to a new and much bigger location, prepping for the party, and getting ready for a big shoot today (4 scenes), I'm totally spent. As soon as Fifi and Mike are on the plane, I'm going to hibernate for a week.
As for the club owners, I had a great conversation with one of the brothers and they were ecstatic over the turnout and atmosphere. Indeed, they were a tad paranoid over the bullcrap but in the grand scheme of things, it did nothing to hamper the bash.
If anything, the contrast to what was threatened and what actually came to be was so stark that they were falling over themselves to convince us to stage a bigger party with an adult industry focus and even stated that we can get a little wilder if we want to.

I only saw two or three guys on the door at any given time. For a club that size, it isn't what I would construe as being overboard.hugqgy said:
Yeah the security wasn't overboard at all. Didn't even notice them except when paying my donation upon arrival. After that I didn't even notice security anywhere. As a previous club owner myself, a rule of thumb is that it is always good to have more then less security at any function. Besides the only ones that suffer are the owners or organziers becuase they are the ones that have to pay for the bouncers to sit around, given that nothing does happen. But in any case, last nights muscle was just enough.

I arrived fairly early into the evening to find that it was a Country Bar. I am pretty urban girl with a urban look so I was made to feel out of place from the moment I walked it. Not to mention my date, Francesca, felt the same way.
Frankie and I sit down and notice wagon wheeles as decoration, people SMOKING in a non smoking venue and there were tons and tons of mullets. I see no name tags so we don't know who is a part of the party and who isn't. Well... then came the two guys who wouldn't leave us alone who were not a part of Terb. They were determined to try to pick us up and didn't get the hint. Then came the nice comments from some "gentleman" who asked why I was so self important because I carried two cell phones, again, not a part of Terb. We left shortly after arriving and I am glad that I was out of there.
May I suggest for future parties to have it in a venue that suites the ladies a touch more. At least at a strip clubs it is known off the bat who is who and what is happening.
No offense to the organizer of the event; I think I will hold off until the next Christmas party that is held somewhere that I am not concerned about my own and my friends health and safety.
Thank you to the two gentlemen who did there best to get the two yokels to leave us alone.

Sorry to hear about the cupids girls. That's bullshit too. With all the reported bouncers, how come they never helped these ladies out?
Without knowing the circumstances, I can assure you without any doubt, that what you are feeling toward terbites as a whole is wrong, although it may seem justifiable in your mind.littleboyblue said:

I don't mean to assume or lecture ... just felt I should try to to convey my thoughts given my past experience.
