Had that happen once years ago....had a session and when time was up she said do you want to come out for a bite to eat - not on the clock and i'll pay - just enjoyed our company and want someone to eat out with!

Obviously I went and we went to a little pizza joint/bar - about $25 for both of us, no big deal

PS We were about the same age and looked like we would be together in real life, so didn't feel I was out of place or being looked at weird etc

I've actually been in a similar situation and know the answer.

After a really good photo shoot the provider in question asked for my card and texted me a little after I had left asking if I'd be interested in getting together with her.

I didn't arrange anything that night but did keep in contact for a while and went out on a few dates with her. Impulsivity can be fun, but if they feel the same after a few days of sending stuff back and forth I'd treat it more genuinely.

+1. I agree with you Dave - I've handled this request (twice) in the same manner as you mention.
