What does Trump have to do with the Iraq War maybe other than
the fact that Putin invaded after he was replaced by Biden?
Dipping into the good liquor?

How about Putin's favourite hors d'oeuvres such as Novichok nerve agent that he gifted to Alexei Navalny?
Guess it goes well with his Poutine and Russian Gin Barrister!!

Xi and Putin clearly have leverage over Trump. Both want him back.

Xi is a Piss Maker. Now the right wingers suddenly are all in lock, step and barrel with the Communist Leader!!
Xi, Zelenskyy and Putin are all out for their own best interest and the best interest of their own country. As Russia is expending all their military assets the cost of this war has set them back a decade economically. Not to mention the sanctions that they have incurred. The cost to Russia has been horrendous. They will come out of this weaker than the way they went in. At the same time the west has sent all their out dated arms to Ukraine to arm them for this and future invasions. The western/European countries will be resupplying with the latest arms and equipment. This may be the last war or one of the last wars fought with boots on the ground. Going forward wars may be fought with robot drones, and remotely operated autonomous ships and submarines. The Russian military is expending all their equipment and Russia will not have the resources to resupply.

Xi is attempting to broker a deal between Russia and Ukraine for his own country, just like he brokered a deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran for for the best interest of China. With the world going into an economic downturn. Xi will not come out a hero even if he achieves peace between Russia and Ukraine. He will get a steady supply of oil from Russia as he will get from Iran and Saudi Arabia. China will benefit economically when the world comes out of recession.

Xi has repaired diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, he may broker a deal between Russia and Ukraine, If he does he will not get a Nobel Peace prize. Obama got one for just being black.

it will be easier for Xi to turn black than broker a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine

With Trump in charge you can be assured Sweden, Finland
and NATO members except Ukraine (who will only want the
lunch free) will be sold the most advanced fighter jets to fight
Putin. Trump won't care about Xi and Putin if there is money
to be made.

Xi probably has no intention to broker a peace deal. It is just a ceasefire
he wants to pull off. Of course he will call it a peace deal.

Going forward Ukraine will still be fighting or hopefully just guarding
their borders should Xi pull off a ceasefire. They will still have to fight
with combat boots on the ground though under cover of advanced
fighter jets piloted by coalition of Finland, Sweden and Poland. Ukraine
will be left destitute by the war so it is up to other NATO members who
don't want to shed blood on the ground but have the money to buy the
most expensive jets to fight in the safety of the sky
from the U.S. Trump will be the right type of leader to take charge.
He is the kind of businessman who will sell his grandma to make
a few extra bucks of profit. He will convince NATO members buying
the most advanced military technology for their protection against
future invasion from Putin is absolutely essential.

His objective is long term supply of oil for China. Why wouldn't his intensions be a peace deal? If he gets Putin an easy way out of a bad situation and maybe a pipeline route along the Sea of Azov. Xi ( China ) will be rewarded with a cheap, steady and reliable supply of oil. As he will be getting from Iran and Saudi Arabia. A bonus of these restorations of diplomatic relations and peace deals is that China might get the massive rebuilding of infrastructure in Iran and Ukraine.

A ceasefire is no longer a war, it is a stand-off. Much like post WWII East Germany vs. West Germany or North and South Korea DMZ.

The U.S. military industry doesn't need a perpetual
war in the battlefield to rake in big money. Preparation
for war is good enough a source of profit. NATO and
Taiwan will have to spend big money to defend against
the Russia-China alliance in the coming years.

I rarely agree with you, but you nailed it this time. The beltway bandits can game the sytem with ease.
