I guess non of you will be going to Disney World/Land rat haven. Big Nazi sympathizer to.
The economic turn around created by the Nazis prewar had Merican banks and businesses all over them.
That's a dumb retort.

It was you that brought up a link to Nazis as a reason to boycott corporations, not SH. It is a non-sequitur for you to ask what other companies that he'd boycott. He never stated an opinion one way or the other. All he did was call you out on your undeniable hypocrisy.

Epic fail at trying to deflect this off of you.

Just look in consumer reports. Those cars consistently score poorly in reliability.
A poor reliability rating doesn't mean cars suddenly break down at the side of the road, requiring a tow to the dealership/repair shop.

Well, in fact Hyundai is making extremely good cars at fairly reasonable and competitive prices.

My wife used to drive an Acura TL and I used to drive a Mercedes. Both of us now drive Hyundais and both of us are quite pleased with the performance and quality of our cars... to say nothing of the 5 year/100,000km bumper to bumper warranty.

No... I don't work for Hyundai... I don't even own their stock!!!!!

So what did you do? Cut the golden goose open for more golden eggs and only found it was full of shit?

Don't hold your breath in looking for anything comprehensible from this poster. Reading comprehension does not seem to be his strong suite. He replies to these posts like a man-child would; deflect rather than address the issue at hand.

Be careful, though. He may get into one of his many proud Nazi-American muscle cars and come to your house to beat you up. Wouldn't put it past him.

Geesh, you BS allot eh?

Read consumer reports and you will find their reliability to be poor.
If it was not for the snob factor...
I'm happy in my Pedestrian Ford Flex, Dodge Challenger and several Ford toys.
I have the January 2016 New Cars issue of Consumer Reports in front of me.
BMW 2 Series: Score of 98 (highest score for sporty cars) All solid red circles for 2016
BMW 3 Series: Score of 84 All solid red circles for 2015
BMW 4 Series: No rating, car is too new
BMW 5 Series: Score of 81 All but 2 solid red circles for 2015
BMW 6 Series: No rating, car is too new
BMW 6 Series: No rating, car is too new
BMW X1: All but 3 solid red circles for 2015
BMW X3 Score of 82 All but 1 solid red circles for 2015
BMW X5 Score of 84 All but 3 solid red circles for 2015
I'll admit there are a few blacks, but the Ford Flex by itself has more.
High safety ratings and low occupant injuries according to the IIHS and NHTSA

Ford Flex: Score of 71 All but 3 solid red circles for 2014 Isn't a top safety pick. Open circle (average) predicted reliability
Dodge Challenger: Score of 70 All but 2 solid red circles for 2014 Solid black predicted reliability. Isn't a top safety pick

Did you totally make that up?? As in lie?

I wouldn't buy a BMW or anything out of the Black Forest.
Family history with the Nazis and concentration camps.
You really need to give that a break and let your hate go.

And the cost of repairs and simple maintenance.
Just look what an oil filter costs. Don't let them BS you with, "It's for a Mercedes Ya." I could feed a family of 4 for a week with the cost of a filter. Believe me there is nothing special. Just snobbery.
A Ford filter is less than $10. Even for my GTs it was only $19.95. And that is a specialty item for an extremely low production run item.
Ya!
More BS. I priced the cost of oil filters for Ford and BMW online at Canadian tire and Parts Canada Online. Price is within 10%.
YAHOO - the filter is $15-20. Friggin drama queen.
First 3 years of maintenance is included in the price of a BMW. After the warranty is over, no fool buys genuine any-manufacturer parts when high quality, low cost alternative are so easily available.
LOL, do you really think maintenance on a Ford GT is cheap?? What is the cost of struts or a control arm? Compare that to a M3. Fool!

Jags are fine now, they used to be terrible before Ford took over....spent billions and then sold them at a massive loss
Completely misleading information as you didn't provide proper context of why Ford sold them and the timing.
Ford made some quality improvements, but it was only under Tata (an Indian company) that Jaguar quality has improved to top 3 status across their entire car line.

BTW, I read your long-winded post regarding your Ford GTs, ... blah ....blah ... how great a driver you are ... blah ....blah ... you came to this country with nothing ... blah ....blah ... and through your sheer brilliance and hard work you now own >$1M in cars, a massive farm, multiple toy cars ... blah ....blah ... and you are an expert on everything.

I spent allot of weekends during summer over the years at Cayuga, Mosport, Shannonville and even a few times at Merrittville. Although there are Ford GTs racing, can't say I've ever seen them win a race either road course or 1/4 mile. It's usually the Vipers, Vettes, Porsches and BMWs - depending on the class. As a matter of fact, the 2 I remember last year both broke down. Brake problems if I recall correctly. I do remember one owner of the blue car bitching how expensive they are to repair and how hard it is to get parts for the GT. Beautiful car, but as they say: FORD F*cked On Race Day

Hey notmommy, how about you publish a single pick of all your GTs, Flex and Challenger for us to admire. Blur out the plates. You'll make me eat some crow if you do!

Ah yes, the Hyundai 6-series :)

Total ripoff of BMW 6

No, would not buy at BMW prices. Why would I want a knockoff for the same price as the original?

Price it at 1/2 or 2/3 the price of the comparable BMW, then maybe.
Totally agree. Gorgeous car but lacking the brand image required to demand BMW pricing.

To be fair to him, I believe when CR compile their reliability data they include things like broken air-conditioner or power window stopped working. Thats not something you would tow your car for.

In 2013 German cars ranked as the worst as far as engine failure was concerned:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/news/9815860/German-cars-lose-out-in-reliability-survey.html

German cars are not as reliable as their reputation suggests. That's according to one warranty provider, which has studied its database to reveal the makes of cars most and least likely to have engine problems.

Warranty Direct, which with 50,000 policies on its books is the UK's leading supplier of direct consumer warranties, claims that Audis, BMWs and Volkswagens have some of the least reliable engines available.

Indeed, among the cars owned by its policy holders, the only engines to have failed more than Audis were those from the now defunct MG Group. In total 1 in 13 of MG Rover motors failed in the past year, and problems presented themselves in 1 in every 27 Audi engines. Mini was the third least reliable with a failure rate of 1 in 40, while BMW finished seventh (1 in 45) and Volkswagen ninth (1 in 52).

The most reliable engines came from Honda, with a failure rate of just 1 in 344, with Toyota in second (1 in 171) and, maintaining some honour for the German brands, Mercedes in third (1 in 119)

You and I can post links to quality surveys all night if we cared to. My point: It was notmommy who specifically referenced Consumer Reports. He bullshitted and got caught. He bullshits allot.

Here's JD Powers survey: http://www.jdpower.com/ratings/study/Initial-Quality-Study-(IQS)-by-Make/565ENG
For overall Quality: Porsche #2, BMW #6 All German makers well above Ford at #20
Overall Mechanical Quality: All German manufacturers well above Ford
Overall Engine Quality: BMW was #5 (which contradicts your no-name warranty company claim). Ford #19 with all German manufactures except Porsche above Ford

10 of the Highest Quality Car Brands for 2015: http://www.cheatsheet.com/automobiles/10-of-the-highest-quality-car-brands-for-2015.html/?a=viewall
Porsche and BMW in top 10. Ford didn't make the top 10.

I don't own a BMW and I'm not really interested in defending them. Frankly, I couldn't care less about BMW. 911 Turbos and 60/70s muscle cars stir my passion, anything else is transportation. I'm just tired of the CRAP many of the too-frequent posting Terbites sprew.

AK-47,

Are you still hanging around the restaurant with the big EATS sign near Finch and Dufferin with your tow truck / truck driver / cabby friends?

Hmmm. I bothered to closely read your article. You used the "Overall Score" selection which includes a bunch of non-quality related categories such as running costs, ride quality, seat comfort, practically. I don't believe this a valid measure.

If you look just at Build Quality and Reliability, BMW as well as Porsche and Audi do quite well. VW and MB, not so well.

Also keep in mind it's hard for North Americans to relate to these studies. Allot of British sold cars have different engines and components than here in NA. Also the British vehicles may be built in European plants - BMW manufactures in 5 different countries.

What's wrong with unemployed?
I haven't worked in about 15 years. All is good.
Today I got up around 9. Had a leisurely brekky.
had lunch around 4, then a nap.
Not working is the way to go
Ceiling Cat is projecting.

He's unemployed himself and on social assistance because he has severe Asperger's Syndrome

Take it anyway you want to twist it.
It may not be in the current edition but I distinctly remember reading about the Black Forest marks having lower than average reliability.
60s70s muscle cars are a piece of shit. I know, I grew up with them.
Hugely polluting. Horrible mileage. 8 mpg wasn't bad in some. Shitty handling. Terrible braking. Do you remember non power 4 wheel drum? Often no power steering. Changing points, adjusting timing, changing plugs, constantly fiddling with carbs. The real hot cars were horrible in regular street traffic. Clutches so hard you walked in circles because your legs became mismatched if you drove it long enough.
Some had cool body lines, etc.
My current Challenger could wipe anything from the 60s and 70s with the AC on max. and a full set of golf clubs and hockey equipment in the trunk.

I have a Hyundai 2016 tucson ultimate 1.6. Pretty good looking suv. This is my first car/suv and so far 10,000 km. So far I enjoyed it most of of time. At low speed lik 15-25 km/h it is little jerky but otherwise very smooth
