Would you let that stop you from having this job? If you are married, then I suppose you will have to assume that you got divorced, but you will have to consider whether your children's disgrace would get to you or not.

The scenario depends on if you were working in porn before or after you got married and if it was a secret or not. The scenario would be different if you met through porn or if she was completely supportive of your career. In either case, you would have to decide how much you value your career over family. There are a majority of women in this industry who have set financial goals that can be reached working in the adult industry 2 to 3 days a week. Ironically, the reason I responded to this thread is I am in the exact same situation you are inquiring about. I was indirectly outed by man who called my mother. What do I do you ask? Well I live a modest lifestyle that displays no indication of my type of work. I decided to get part time job therefore my family knows where I work ( my regular part time job i just got) and there really is nothing more to say. I made a compromise. It is very difficult for a woman to quit immediately.

Everyone is different and has different situations and family relationships.

I know who it was and I have reached out to him and I have yet to receive a response. I have worked in my industry for over 3 years and never had an issue until a few months ago. I developed feelings for a client and wanted to build something outside work.

I never hid my work from my family and I've never been stuck in my job. they generally disapprove anything I choose to do with my life. They have their own idea of success and I don't measure up in their points system.
